A mini-arena to trap mobs and stop them from getting into my base and also to provide easy combat and loot if (mostly) everything else outside is dead from the sun. It works via a standard iron door as well as a 2 space wide walled-in entrance with trapdoors powered by redstone and a switch used remotely, and stairs going downwards into it via another iron door. Pretty simple, but it was easy to add and is a fun part of my base.
If I screw up and fall off the walls on the other parts, I can also still get back in by punching the trap doors, which is fortunate so that I don't end up in a huge nest of giant spiders and meet an untimely demise. That is, assuming the main iron door is open.
i built a book shelf in my woodshop class at school, it was actually pretty nice and, it's now hanging in my living room.
Bookshelf? Hanging? Yours don't float? xP
In Minecraft, the coolest thing I have ever built was my old mining facility. Instead of just leaving a huge hole going into the ground, I made it all fancy and shiz. It took so long, but looked so nice!
Then the world corrupted and I deleted. :sad.gif:
