Well, vote on the poll and post your opinion here.
IMO, 1.6 in general just totally sucks. It could've been made so much better, and it seems like they really rushed it through without checking anything. The fact that it hit 1.6_6 in less than a month, each update breaking almost every mod just really irritates me. It decreased performance, and added the untoggleable wildgrass. The update would be bearable if Wildgrass was a toggleable feature, but because it isn't, its almost completely destroyed my will to play minecraft. I continue to play 1.5, and I will play 1.5 until Wildgrass is toggleable or gone. The fact that it added so many bugs with the bugfixes is also very irritating.
1. Stop complaining
2. Get a refund, buy the game when its finished.
3. Stop playing until the game is finished.
1. I'm simply stating my opinion and seeing what other people thing, I'm not complaining.
2. There are no refunds you dumb*ss.
3. I said I'm willing to play 1.5 until wildgrass is toggleable, or I'll just stay at 1.5.
See, now you've just gone and made yourself look stupid.
I just hate those Bushes, that's all. From the entire minecraft those Bushes are a pain that they aren't toggleable. atleast for me, but hell, i don't play the default texture so i make my own, get some mods around or build some massive star wars map, and i forget about them, so it's basicaly fine, but still notch needs to add a toggle button for it, when off, the bushes stay, when on, the bushes are gone and get yer' seeds from the grass like old times, owh that'd be good!
Exactly! If that was added, then this update would be tolerable, as I can live without my mods for a while.

This. OP, you ARE complaining, and you ARE coming off as incredibly unreasonable, essentially insulting everyone who doesn't agree with you. This isn't a thread you made to state your opinion. If you'd properly made one to do so, you'd be sane enough to respect others' opinions. Maybe I'm wrong, but with the replies you've given, you seem to be trying to dictate your own.
Hey you! Yeah, you, the one that looks like a complete douche!
You know what? I really hate flowers. They're just sitting there on the ground, I have to CLICK my MOUSE BUTTON to build stuff where they are, it's just freaking annoying. They don't even give anything useful when you hit them, I mean, who wants dye?
The game just hasn't been the same since Notch added flowers.
My personal opinion is that the grass barely affects gameplay.I already had a wheat farm set up before the update rolled around, so it didn't affect my gathering abilities, and the patch also rolled in hatches, which are one of my favorite additions so far. I think that that balances out any stylistic discord caused by the addition of wildgrass. I personally think that it adds a nice break from the uniformity of 2D grass. Whenever I get tired of it, I just switch to a semi-transparent texture pack the I made.
Also, I believe that it being updated so many times in a short span was a good thing. It shows that the Minecraft team takes the issues that they have created seriously, and is willing to make a concerted effort to correct them. Besides, the update also fixed a bunch of other bugs. You can't make that many changes to the source code without some issues popping up. This is only magnified by the huge community that has grown around Minecraft. This makes it a lot easier to find rare bugs that only occur very rarely.
Ultimately, I think that the 1.6 and all subsequent updates were excellent, though they do fall short of some previous updates in terms of game content added.
I really do not see the problem with the wildgrass. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't just rip the entire Wildgrass mod. At least the mod had a bit more variety.
Also, I'm fairly sure that:

Why don't you just make the wild grass invisible in your texture pack? Then you won't have to look at it and if you have enough seeds then there is no reason you would need to use it
I think the update was a nuisance at best, they shouldn't release an update unless it has something worth updating for. It annoys me that it makes mods unusable... for what? Tall grass, hatches and more bugs?
why do people hate wildgrass? I'm just wondering, because it shouldn't really ruin minecraft for you guys. Does it single-handily cause more lag in the game? If so, I have not noticed any lag what so ever.

And you are complaining.

As of 1.6.6, I think there's still quite a few less bugs, even with all the new bugs that got added. Don't quote me on that.
And:
Trapdoors, SMP Nether, Maps, Faster booster tracks. Just off the top of my head.

No, he did make himself look stupid by saying things that made no sense or were irrelevant.
But I'm not going to start an argument with someone who's avatar is the trollface.
