As with the new Patches today 1.6 - 1.6.4 one of the newest additions was with the behavior of Mushrooms being able to spread (very slowly) apparently I have planted 2 groups and treated them differently with 1 group in a more shaded area of my building and the other with full exposure to the sun.

I was wondering if anyone has had luck with "Farming" Mushrooms with the new patch or had any insight as to how well this would work or if it does at all?

Not sure if this is in the right Forum, it looked like a logical place to post.

tried it,mine worked,just plant some mushrooms in the shade(i think it was) and let em grow.

I think its possible but veeeeery slowly... anyway having them on your backyard is better than moving around to look for them.

It's very useful to, mushroom stew heals 5 hearts, a good substitute for bacon.

Thanks for the replies, I've just been looking for little extra things to add to my farm projects and I know mushroom stew is a possible food source (if I could ever find red mushrooms instead of just brown ones)

I'm just glad that there is something else to farm now aside from wheat, cactus, and sugar cane.
