Ok mods on this forum are getting out of control i give you the evidence on one thread that was locked, then the mod had the nerve to edit almost everybodies post on the thread here it is:
And these are some things that the mod edited onto other peoples messages:
_________________________________________________________________
Mod edit: Warning issued for one-word spampost.
so don't respond to it, just report it and move on.
Mod edit: No need to post to tell people this. Report and move on.
Mod edit: Warning issued for meme spam.
Mod edit: Warning issued for troll-calling
Mod edit: Warning issued for flaming.
No. Just...no.
Mod edit: Skirting the edge of troll-calling is still troll-calling. Stop it.
Mod edit: To further avoid making such assumptions, don't even post implications of troll-calling.
Mod edit: Follow your own advice, and stop bumping troll threads. That means even posting "stop posting" posts.
Mod edit: Warning issued for emote spam.

Is anybody else a bit angry at how much Moderators are getting into our Forum Lives on this website? Everything above was edited into another players post.
When are we going to start demoting these moderators, i believe i speak for all when i say that we dont want these moderators analyzing every single little word we say and make corrections on what we say into our very own post and tell us if its allowed or not.
Seriously? Emote Spam? The OP just posted a bunch of little Fire Blocks on his Post with a response to another person below, and he was given a warning. This is getting out of control.
They're doing their best to keep this terrible community under control.
I'd say they're doing a pretty good job.
Most of the mod edits i've seen have been well deserved.
You're complaining about a herobrine thread. Really?

OP, all of those posts that were warned violated the rules, which have been established since the beginning of the forum. Put your big girl panties on and get over it.
Did....did you just link to a stickied thread that is used as a model of what not to do... and then complain about the moderation when it was perfectly acceptable...?
NO MEMES WHATSOEVER BECAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY MAKE EVERYONE BESIDE THE PICKY MODERATOR ANGRY
Memes are overused: they are not funny. Image macros are a lazy man's way of making a point. Forums are for writing (or at least trying) well-thought out posts.
You're looking for needles in a haystack.
Also, following rules is nice, but there is such thing as making stupid, picky rules. Especially when they're a single person's selfish attempt to change the vocabulary/behavior of an entire community.

Mods gave him warning from flaming. *puts sunglasses on*
These forums are a cesspool. I check in every hour or so and can't find anything I posted in because of "OMG I JUST FOUND A SKELETON". Good threads require me to wade through "Cool story bro", "pics or it didn't happen", or "OMG CHEAP NIKE SHOES HERE'S A ".
Memes are the epitome of this kind of thing. Do you want to get forwards from your grandpa with knock-knock jokes in them? Would you like to get the same forwards every day? What if every hour he sent you jokes about why the chicken crossed the road? When you post an image macro or further a meme, you look like grandpa. Grandpa parrots last years' memes to try and look cool. In particular, you look like grandpa's grandpa when you're the 8th person in a thread to state the same meme. People like you are why Portal isn't funny anymore. The 8th time some loser said "The cake is a lie" in an inappropriate situation it wasn't funny. Now it's been done millions of time, and that horse-shaped grease spot on the ground can't get any deader. Just stop.
Some of us don't think forums are a race to see who can post a meme the fastest. We actually read threads, decide if we have something to say, and leave it if we don't. Posting an image macro, emptyquote, meme phrase, copypasta, or anything of the sort says, "I couldn't think of anything to say, but if I don't get postcount++ my penis will fall off." I'd rather it if you keep your reproductive maladies to yourself.
Every one of these that is closed, every member that is warned, makes this forum a better place. If you like to post this way, go find somewhere else where people will stay out of your "forum lives" (you only live once, you know?). I suggest GameFAQs or Youtube comments.
And if you think these mods are tough, you're a total n00b to internet forums. In *my* day, forums hadn't implemented warning systems so you got banned for postcount++. And we had to type uphill both ways.
Yeah, the mods on this forum pretty much suck, especially if someone points out incidents in which their powers are used unfairly. I've seen more than one "OFF TOPIC" warning in response to such accusations, rather than even a fair attempt at response. Its a pretty shifty system, especially when they request that anyone who has issues with a decision take it up with them via PM- so that, depending on their mood, they can punish you without justifying themselves publicly. Also, I've more than once seen controversial threads be closed down either to keep mods from having to check them to ensure that flame wars don't erupt (you don't take action until such a thing actually happens even if its a divisive issue, you don't just halt discussion because it 'could' get out of hand), or, in some cases, to just get the last word in on an issue that they feel strongly about. Someone made a thread in which they argued that mob farms were exploits, and wound up in a discussion in which it was basically the thread's maker and a handful of other people against pretty much everyone else. A mod shut the thread down because he felt the rhetoric was getting too heated, and then concluded his post by noting that he agreed with the thread's original premise. Sure, he didn't literally say, "THIS ARGUMENT IS OVER HERE IS THE CORRECT OPINION," but, functionally, it came pretty close.
Most mod here are immature (much like the rest of the community; case in point).
So, yeah, we expect them to be a little power crazy at times. But your right, they
need to lay off the edits and power trips.

(Also troll calling should be in the read before posting because there is no other indication that everyone will get pissy about it.)
These forums are getting worse by the second.
ALL POSTS MUST BE COMPLETELY SERIOUS

A troll calling a troll thread stupid...
Paradox?
You're looking for needles in a haystack.

The problem with memes is that they're usually the entirety of the post.
Is not a good post. I for one back the mods on cracking down on some of the immaturity on this forum. That makes it... nicer.
Edit: Bad quote grid
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
...LOL
No seriously though mos dont do enough :s these spam threads should all be locked and users banned if they keep doing it
Mod Edit: Warned for insulting Mods.
