I dug myself a little 2x1 hole for the first night once. I woke up to a creeper standing right over me. It just stayed there, and asked someone else on the server to help, but a duck pushed it into my hole. There were no survivors.

1. is false. I did that before, and it got me my first diamonds, and 9 of 'em!

1. is false. I did that before, and it got me my first diamonds, and 9 of 'em!

The largest diamond vein you can find is 8, you probably miss calculated.

I've heard a few people say they've found more, but maybe they were just double-veins
