How did you react the first time your world had a thunder storm?
To be honest, it actually scared me. I'm a bit sensitive to sudden loud noises so the thunder cracks made me jump. Also, lightning struck a few blocks in-front of me, causing fear of death. Then, electrified creeper.

Thunderstorms are supposed to be rare, but my first rain was a thunderstorm. I also had another one just recently.
Anyhow, my first reaction was: "boy I hope it doesn't burn the forest down" as there is a beautiful forest right next to my house, and it would be quite a loss if it all burned down.
I had a thunderstorm in SMP once, lighting hit a tree nearby and burned quite a few trees.
when 1.5 came out, I started a new world (I actually used the same seed as my 1.4 map, which is just my username)
I think it was only a few minecraft days before I got my first thunderstorm, and I think it was actually my first weather too.
my first reaction was **** that thunder is realistic!
I have now had 3 or 4 thunderstorms, and rain numerous times. I have played a total of 48 hours (about 5 hours a day, wow I should play a little less!) so rain seems to happen every hour, and thunderstorms roughly every 10 hours.
today I completed the last achievement, the 1km track.
I heard and saw my first thunder storm last night. I was blown away by how amazing they look and how nice they sounds. It's so real! Definitely an amazing addition, except for that fact that they cause wooden houses to burn down. :sad.gif:
I was working in my pyramid and all of a sudden BOOM! And I soiled myself. Then I realized what was happening and went wandering outside where lightning struck like two blocks infront of me, and I soiled myself again and asked...
