2007 MacBook (black), 2.2GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, 6GB RAM, Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics with 144MB VRAM shared with main RAM.
I get between 10 and 30 FPS on fancy and short distance. Not optimal.
If you can avoid it, do NOT get integrated graphics chipsets.
EDIT: Just tested my other computer, a 2009 Mac Mini, 2.26GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics with 256MB VRAM shared with main RAM.
Here, I get between 30 and 80 FPS, on fancy and far distance. Much better.
Dell XPS M710 laptop.
Intel Pentium M 760, Socket 479, 90 nm, 2.00GHz.
Dell branded Intel motherboard, Intel i915PM/GM chipset, Intel 82801FBM (ICH6-M) southbridge.
Dell Inc. branded A05 BIOS revision.
Two times 1GB DDR PC2-4300 (266Mhz), 4, 4, 4, 12.
NVidia GeForce Go 6800 Ultra, 256Mb video memory, revision A1.
Before 1.5 I played at fast graphics, limiting frame rate on, no view bobbing, tiny render distance, 3D off, and smoother lighting off and would get between twenty and thirty FPS on average.
Now I'm playing at fancy graphics, limiting frame rate on, no view bobbing, GUI scaling auto, far render distance, 3D off, smooth lighting on (I would much rather it off, but the stairs have a display bug if it is off), and advanced openGL off at about thirty to forty FPS on average. I have not seen a difference between turning openGL on or off in my FPS or playability.

Fire And Ice
Some say the world will end in fire
Some say in ice
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice

I get between 100 and 200 typically, but I usually force v-sync just because.

There's your problem.
Intel Core i5-2400 @3.1GHz
RAM 8 GB (3.49 Usable) <-- because I haven't upgraded to Win 7 64-bit yet
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1GB
Graphics set on Fancy/Far
Default texture pack
But I average 200 fps while walking around and doing stuff
Intel Core i7 2.93GHz Processor
8 gigs of RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5700
Average of about 130-150 FPS with render distance on Far.
I built this one last month:
Intel Core i5-2500K
8GB DDR3 RAM
NVidia GTX 560 Ti
FPS: 150 - 250+ with all settings maxed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRXdTsMbqC8
1.6 GHz, 6 mb L3 cache
NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M
Up to 2783 MB TurboCache
4GB DDR3 Memory.
I have no idea if this is good or bad. Could someone tell me?

4GB RAM
70-200FPS Default max settings.
Win 7 64 Bit
intel pentium processer E5500
6GB DDR3
1TB MEM :biggrin.gif:
intel GMA x4500 graphics
4 GB 1600 DDR3
GTX 280 FTW edition.
180-220FPS
It's an IBM ThinkPad R51 with and Intel Pentium M Processor @ 1.5GHz SIngelcore.
RAM is about 1GB and my graphics are an ATI Mobility RADEON @ 32MB.
If I play Renderdistance on far I get between 1 and 5 FPS, Renderdistance on Tiny between 5 and 60 :smile.gif:
But I don't complain, I'm happy at the moment about this, and maybe also if I get a new computer I'll keep playing Minecraft on this notebook
Ohbby.
Getting this, hoping for atleast 100fps ;D
