If a monster is able to spawn close enough to the bed, they wake you up when you go to sleep. The easiest fix is not putting it against a wall, though I've found it can be against a wall if monsters can't wander right up to the wall from the outside.

Do you have a lovely bunch of coconuts? Do you have them all standing in a row? Are there big ones, small ones, some as big as your head?
What's in the hole in the floor ? If it's a mineshaft with a ladder, mobs can climb up.
About the bed, you can make your walls two layers thick and not have problems getting woken up. Leaving a single space in between the bed and each wall is the other solution But this shouldn't be an issue with the original problem anyway.
This has happened to me as well. My house is also built into a mountain and has PLENTY of light sources. However, every once in a while a mob will be spawned inside my house. Not to mention mobs attacking me in my sleep.

Now I have built my house inside of a mountain and my only guess is I made my house over a spawner which would be really unlucky.
Here are some screenshots of my house incase I did something wrong.

Nerd, geek, server admin, guy wearing a rainbow skin (with an office suit of epicness)? That's me.
What is it with the beds?
Why can't they be near walls?

That's what that hole in the floor is.
It's just a staircase leading to nothing but it's all blocked off.
