I was playing my world, i play on peaceful. i had found a mob spawner so i made a grinder and i wanted to test it, and it worked so i turned to peaceful, and went outside and Slimes were still spawning. O.o WTF!!

is there a way i can remove the slimes from the .jar while still being able to play

Slimes are considered a peaceful mob, since the smallest form can't hurt you.
