update 3: If you want to make your own papercraft blocks, visit bearodactyl's thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20288
Our blocks are not papercraft so they use a different template optimized for the way we built them (styrofoam cubes with paper textures glued on)
update 2: If there is enough interest, we may start selling the tools for a very reasonable price.

Hey guys, this past month my friend and i created a real world minecraft gallery installation. The entire gallery is to-scale and the center grass block is fully interactive and filled with 1500 small blocks. There were mini-tools and a creeper and grass block brownies and working led torches!! Check it out guys, we made this for you!
The blocks are foam core with paper textures glued on them. We had to do this so they had weight and could withstand people digging through them and throwing them around.

Where is the gallery located?
This was at San Jose State University (in San Jose, CA)

Yeah, come to think of it, would you be willing to put up the templates you used for the small paper blocks? I'd love to have one of my own.
Of course! I'd be more than willing to release the template i used. But the problem is, the templates i made are optimized for the way we made our blocks (foam core) so it wouldnt really work well as papercraft.
