So there is this person I really don't like on the server I play and... I would like some tips on how to track players down. I have a general idea of where I can start tracking though I want to know the most efficient way of doing things like this. Thanks for reading!
you can make a map that has a bigger range by taking a normal map and put it into a crafting table then surround it by paper this should make the range of the map bigger and you can keep on doing this until you can see their base on the map! Please hit the green button that points up i.e: (the thank button) if this helped you.NOTICE!!! This will only work if the map is NOT an empty map.
That is an interesting way that I haven't thought of, I might try that.
Well I'm only going to track the person down when I'm not a staff member anymore. I just wanted some pointers so when I do retire from staff it'll be a blast. xD
If you really want to do it legit, you could try tracking him.
If you haven't found any signs of civilisation, such as abandoned bases, a good idea is to begin wandering in the direction that people are most likely to live. For example, if theres an ocean and desert to the north and west, forget them and try south or east if they have more hospitable biomes.
Once you're on your way, look out for half chopped down trees, pillars, cobblestone in caves, crafting tables placed randomly.
