Found 2 wolves got both to follow me home, neither could go through the door so I picked out one stone block at ground level like a doggy door and they both made it inside. Its low to the ground and only 1 block high so nothing else, except maybe a slime, can get in and the skeletons would have to shoot me from their knees, so it looks safe.
I Slept In A Newly Placed Bed, it Reset My Respawn Point. I Slept In A Bed Placed In 1.3, It Did NOT Reset My Respawn Point.
Really ?
I created a brand new world, and also a "new bed"... I tested the feature two times. I spent a night on two different "new beds" in two different new worlds, and it didn't work at all... did I miss something ?

If you take down one of the doors, they'll walk through, even if it's a double doorway and the other door is closed.
I've noticed in the past that spiders seem unable to pass through a double doorway, even if both doors are opened. Makes me wonder if there's some recycled spider code at work here.
Half-blocks allow light to pass through it, thus making it possible for grass to remain under the half-block. On the other hand, double half-blocks, which count as a full solid block doesn't allow light to pass though it, preventing grass from remaining under the double half-blocks and forcing the block underneath it to be dirt.
NOTICE: Grass is under half-block upon breakage.
NOTICE: When breaking double half-blocks, dirt block is underneath.

Was exploring around my world for wolves and ran into a bunch of frozen mobs, If I enter the chunk I become frozen as well. I restored a backup of the world and the bug still persists.
Edit: This chunk was fine in 1.3
only mod I had running in 1.3 was Optimine, installed 1.4 clean.

When the sun is setting and you open your inventory in the back ground the is a brown line that will rise as the sun sets. will add more as i see.
That is an old bug, not new to 1.4.

I found that random chests crash the game (Either opening or destroying them)
I have this, it seems to only be chests that contain items that were crafted using a mod, like elemental arrows or an air ship, or airplane.
the game crashes if you open or destroy the chest.
You can fix this if you have a backup copy of your previous modded minecraft.jar. Revert to that and delete the offending items. Then go back to 1.4.

I have noticed that after the update it doesn't like being run maximised on a 1280x1024 monitor and a 1650x1080 monitor. It was fine before the update but now it just gives me a max fps of 3 when run maximised.
I also found that if I adjust the window size before I login it crashes. I have tried this multiple times and it keeps crashing. I have to first login and then change the window size.

If at first you don't succeed, you obviously don't have enough weapons.
I know its not exactly for 1.4 but when i updated after backing my whole bin up and then going back to my original bin i get this weird bulge on my game where i can't aim at anything and the ground has water particles splashing up can't post a image attachment quota has been reached sorry.
Do I just take a screenshot of me respawning not near my bed? not sure how to screen shot that one.
It's been confirmed by plenty of us though, myself in both SMP and SSP, no mods on either, my own hosted server.
Already noted that bug
Sorry - didn't see that you had moved it to confirmed!
(taken one after the other, the wolf went back and forth several times until I went to the minecart he was in and destroyed it.)
(I think he's in the station in the last one)

They have a low spawn rate and only spawn in forest and taiga biomes
which has been around since the dawn of time, report new bugs then :v
