Alright I know they have minecraft geniuses on the forums. I was wondering if it was at all possible to make items travel upwards? I can use the piston mod if that help.
Edit: I got it. If you would like to see the basic design you can check out the video.
Now I'm off to build one with changing spawners :tongue.gif:
Piston mod can propel items upwards, and a series of pistons with the right timing can raise them as high as you like. Triggering the pistons to start with might be difficult though, because a piston would destroy a pressure plate, and water couldn't run through one.

Thats what I was thinking. I just can't figure out a way to trigger it once an item lands on it.

Just rig up a clock and have it constantly pushing items into the air.
Someone posted a method of doing it using a boat/sand bouncing glitch. It had to be reset when unloaded/reloaded. Pistons are (will be?) more reliable, if you can work it out.
Also, it's quite easy to get MOBS to travel upwards (look up mob elevator).. so if you're building an underground trap, move the mobs up THEN kill em. Problem solved!

Thank you so much. I finished the basic design of my trap now and I will upload a video in a minute.

Atm there is no way of doing so (but with pistons yes)

with a side of healthy green leaves
