Simple, how long can you keep a world. I honestly get bored with every world after about 30 minutes, and start new, I usually don't even have iron by then.

I've had the same world since I bought the game, way back in Alpha :tongue.gif:

I've had the same world since, like, two updates before the Halloween update.

When a new update comes out that makes me want to start over again, I back up my old world and start a new one. I go back to old worlds later on whenever I feel like it, but I only have a few worlds that I actively play that are older than six months.

I have only deleted one world in the entire time I've been playing minecraft.

I still play with my Alpha world, I still explore, still create. I see no reason to scrap everything I have ever made.

Oh and BTW: Updated chunks spawn where old chunks have not.

I have had the same world since I started Minecraft, which was in January.

Whenever I get bored with a base, I don't make a new world, I just explore the same world.

I've had the same world for about two months now. I've only been playing since January and had three worlds. The first world got lost when I got a new computer, I still kind of miss it, but I'm pretty happy with my current world. I will probably keep the world I have for a long time. :3

Less than 30 minutes. Ever since I deleted my first world anyway...

I usually start a new world every update. Exploring is the best part of the game for me anyway.

Back in Alpha I never changed worlds, but I was playing on a snow world. Since the biomes update I have found it hard to keep a world for a long time, and hate building in snow areas because I can destroy snow/ice but can't repair it. I am sure that once 1.5 comes out I'll be able to keep my new world I make in it for a very long time :biggrin.gif:

Not very long. I like testing out new seeds, so i usually delete most of my worlds, even If I started building stuff in them.

I can keep a world for like 3 days. I'll eventually get bored of seeing the same things over and over again, so I delete it and restart. But my first world lasted for like 2 months until it got some kind of corruption and I had to delete it.

I've had my same world since alpha. Out of all the other random worlds I've made at my home computer and school computers, I've never had one as awe inspiring and as beautiful as it.

For me it depends on the spawn location, i dont want the map too big because of memory so i try to get in a basic good area, i mostly look for worlds with very tall trees, and snow near some water :3 since i love the super tall tress and snow, however it seems the trees are sorta rare as you cant grow them :/ [until the 1.5 update that is]

So i simpley make new worlds find a good area and keep it

10 days to 1 month. It depends on if I die a lot, the terrain, what I have, etc.

i have been playing for a couple months now and i have had t he same world. i couldn't imagine starting over and losing everything i have built!!

I have a world which has hardly been used from back in INFDEV! Before caves, and working water.
I also have a few worlds from INDEV!
Though I don't use them, I still have them.
