Yesterday, I did something that made me feel like an idiot, but I'm glad I did so. I left my house in search of new things, I traveled over a days walk to the West, I only brought one Iron Pick (Almost fully destroyed when I left), two Stone Picks, and two Stone Shovels.
Exploring my new found land, I finally felt what is was like to have nearly nothing. To be able to explore and discover new things again made me happy. It wasn't until about a Minecraft week later when I had to go back. By then I had stepmines to go down to Bedrock, I discovered Coal, Iron, Redstone, and even Gold. I traveled my vast land and found the great things. I discovered a base I built four months ago in a mountain.
I feel renewed now, and I shall go out again in search of the prized Lazuli, this time I'll at least bring a Compass.
this is my problem with games. once im good at them its just not worth playing anymore. so unless there is something new to explore i get bored. on minecraft i now spend my time wandering in search of awesome land formations and where to make a new type of house.

lettuce. that is all.
i wish only for a creeper buddy that can help me build.
Leave the compass at home.
The last time I did something like that I went to my portal system, made a new portal which was over a hundred blocks further than my last portal and went through. All I took with me was a bed so I could set my spawn point.
Had the time of my life in that new area, went back eventually though as I wanted to finish off what I had started before starting over anew :tongue.gif:
Plan to go back there though.
