I'm looking for, as the title says, a seed that will provide me, within close range to the spawn, a nice overhang or floating island type thing that peers over a lake or an ocean or another scenic view.
Might take a few tries. Most spawns are somewhere around the base of one of the waterfalls. The landscape is as natural as I could keep it while still building. I built mostly underground though.
My base is over the lake at 195, -441 and there are mountains to the west that are as you described... very nice view. One of them is so tall that the trees are chopped off at the sky limit level and one range has a hole/overhang big enough to cover a village.
Or generate your own unique one.
