This is not a question. This is an answer. This is how to make the search system work again!

First, go to User Control Panel. Then, go to Usergroups. Go down and select "Searchers". Then scroll down the rest of the way and press submit. Voila!

It's been there for a while, I check UserGroups every day, so I found out about it right away, just didn't join for a while due to not needing search.

I tried this over a month ago but it still says Pending Membership. How do I get to be a member if nobody is approving memberships? Also, if anyone can tell who the group leader is so I can PM them maybe that would help.

I can't do this. I tried joining when all recruits had to be approved. Now I'm stuck at pending and can't cancel.

I don't think you can cancel it. You either PM Notch and have him help you or make a new account.
