Tamed wolves never despawn
:_:)When holding uncooked pork they shall turn their attention to you and tilt their head in expectancy of a meaty treat.
spawn only in forest biomes(most likely true)
The height of a tamed wolf's tail reflects its health.
If Minecraft crashes, the number of tamed wolves you have may increase. However, some might also disappear.
Hostile wolves respond similar to zombie pigmen, inasmuch as attacking one will make the pack attack you.
If a wolf is in a downward water current, they will not float, and if not removed will drown.
Shooting an arrow into the air and letting it hit you will cause your wolves to attack you.
There is no current limit to the amount of wolves you can have at your disposal.
They spawn in groups of up to 7(maybe more)
Their path-finding is very weak.(an opinion but none the less true)
Wild wolves' eyes turn red when you hurt them.
They spawn on any difficulty.
They have a water-shaking off animation.
Wild wolves have 4 health and Tamed wolves have 10 health
Cannot travel to the Nether.
When tamed, they have a red collar and their eyebrows rise.
[SMP BUG]will disappear if they get in a mine cart
Because this has been mentioned numerous times before, with more specifics and information, with extremely poor grammar and spelling. Totally trollin. (its not helpful because it can't be helped...)
Not even barely helpful haha. I'd say not helpful in any way possible.
Anyways, OT: Since I haven't found any wolves yet myself and haven't been able to test this out, do tamed wolves ever despawn? I want to keep my wolf forever and ever :smile.gif:
There is no current limit to the amount of wolves you can have at your disposal.
They attack you if you are hit by your own arrow.
They tend to wander around aimlessly, too far at times.
When holding uncooked pork they shall turn their attention to you and tilt their head in expectancy of a meaty treat.
They can only eat Pork, if fed bread they are damaged. (Perhaps a different food may be out (or soon to be out) that can give them greater health restoration, I do not know)
They avoid creepers
If left sat down in the wilderness they will not be attacked by mobs at night.
They do not attack mobs you have shot with your bow
They will defend you if you are ever hit.
In the wild (un-tamed) they will kill any passive mob that gets in their line of sight.

-Wolves near you respawn back to you when you die, even if sitting.
-I have used 11 bones to tame one wolf
Otherwise, everything sounds about right.

My goal in Minecraft is to defeat every glitch in Minecraft, so people can play without worry.
IMO-the wiki does not reflect what the community accepts as true all the time ie."wolves are attracted to pork"
not many people knew what this meant and thus it was not helpful

baconfish. No, they spawn in packs often. Most of the time mine did. 3-5.
I can't find any, only found one
humpingjumping outside my door. You can make them spawn more by finding a forest/taiga biome and lighting it up in the night. I put fences around mine.
