Of course my good man , in they year of '86 I was browsing some of the caves in my world looking for a tad bit of coal to keep my abode warm. And what do you know!?!?! a giant combusting scrotum snuck up on me!
I've changed the inventory key to Tab, the sneak to C, dropping items to R, and fog to H. Everything else is default. :ohmy.gif:)
Dropping items needed to be changed because I'm used to having Q as quick-save. While that's not an option in MC, I still find myself pressing it at times out of habit of wanting to save. I rarely ever mess with fog so I set it to H to be out of the way. And I'm used to having inventory in games be Tab, and C for crouching/sneaking just makes sense to me. :ohmy.gif:)
WASD most of the time, but every now and then I play using my 360 controller.
With a combination of the right buttonmapping, a few nice little scripts, and F8 mouse smoothing, it's actually pretty great (and makes stuff like crouchwalking less painful on your hand). Everyone should try playing Minecraft with a controller at least once.
WASD for movement Q for inventory,I for drop items and space to jump. This makes it much easier to get to your inventory. (but it does cause BAD things to happen when you forget to set it that way, i threw my diamond pick in some lava while trying to mine obsidian once. :sleep.gif:)

I have played with my PS3 controller before via Xpadder. Its quite fun but can get annoying when crafting. But the other 90% of the time i use the default layout with inventory switched to T (so much better then I )
