So regarding the beds as spawn point thing, will the player have a choice whether to set the new spawn point or is it automatic? Also, let's say I create a new world, then wander from the original spawn point and create a bed. That bed is now my spawn point. So then I wander away from that bed and create a new bed which becomes my new spawn point. According to the status updates and such, if I destroy this new bed, my spawn will be reset, but will it reset to the last undestroyed bed I slept in, or go straight to the original world spawn point?
I really hope we have some control over what gets set as a spawn point :/
the last bed u slept in is ur new spawn point if it was destroyed then ur last bed is the spawn and so on until u get back to default i believe
I believe I read on jebs twitter that there's no history kept of which beds you have slept in, your spawn resets to default if your bed-spawnpoint gets destroyed.
I'm sure this isnt the right forum for a noob question like mine but i was here and thought to ask. Am I able to load a previously saved game with a new texture pack and pick up where i left off? just wanted to make sure before I did it. Thanks.
I would just like to say that minecraft works perfectly well with a 64-bit operating system. I'm running windows 7 64-bit and game works just the same as it did before I updated to a 64-bit platform. Have you tried deleting your minecraft.exe and getting a new one from the website, keeping your save and everything of course? Also what are the other specs of your system? Doesn't sound like your GPU or Notch's software are to blame. Best of luck though.

You also could make Minecraft work properly for 64bit Operation Systems too.
I didn't had any problem with graphics, black screens and errors until I change my Windows XP Proffesional 32bit to Vista Home Premium 64bit.
I can play with maximum details, yes, but after 4 or less minutes, it goes to black screen and I have to close it with Task Manager. And my graphics are: GeForce 460 SE and I have last drivers work properly on other games.
The only thing I can make it work properly is to change Graphics to Fast and Normal visibility and that makes me very sad, especially the trees - I can't look thru them.
Plz make something that will fix that problem - I tried everything, Java 64bit installation, looked at alot of forums but nothing helped me. Could you help?
first of all, I LOVE this game! Im so glad I found out about it. (I showed it to 4 friends and all 4 bought it as well hehe)
second of all, thanks for making this thread. Im very excited about this update and am hungry for any and all news about it, but dont want to mess around with twitter. So this is perfect:)
Third of all, a quick question. Is there any way to remotely summon your wolf/call him/port him somehere etc?
Im picturing myslef journeying way way out on a wilderness adventure to distant lands with my faithful companion, telling him to stay, checking out a nearby cave and quickly getting sssssssssss-boom 'ed
Will my poor wolf now stay there forever, waiting for his directionally challenged master to find him again?
