Maybe I read that wrong.
You expect Mojang, a company made of I think about 10 people, 3 of which are programmers, to do the same as a very large company with at least 20 programmers?
This. Although I'm sure blizzard has more than just 20 programmers on staff. Blizzard is a multi-billion dollar, 15+ year old company with a lot of big name titles under their belt. Comparing them to Mojang is like comparing apples and oranges.

Yeah, except the oranges are the size of the Moon and have laser defense cannons mounted on the peel.
I have no idea how big Blizzard is because I decided to waste my natural life expectantcy on Minecraft instead of WoW. Besides, WoW costs more.

You expect Mojang, a company made of 9 people, 2 of which are game developers, to do the same as a very large company that has been around for 20 years?
And do you know how much harder it is to scrip for blizzard? No offence notch but this stuff is simple numbers to some of the developers at blizzard, the C++ 3D modeling is crazy **** :ohmy.gif:, and they have a large player base.
So i think mojang could spare an hour a day out of the work to make at least a couple fixes a week.
I've noticed something about Minecraft. Its a slow process. So i had the idea today if Notch and the crew could do something similar to Blizzard's way of fixing minor bugs.
Almost every Tuesday ( not always every Tuesday) Blizzard does minor "Hot fixes" fixing minor bugs on World of Warcraft. Only fixing small things that could be helpful some how. It would be great to see Mojang do something similar to this. By having someone work on this a couple hours a day fixing small bugs the community has found would really make an impact on the development. For example. If we had minor bug fixes frequently it would let them have more free time for making new features instead of focusing on bugs.
TL;DR Mojang should add a hot fix at a frequent time opening new doors to new, and fun features.
Please leaves comments or anything else about this (:
Didn't Notch talk about wanting to implement "Nightly builds" that would pretty much satisfy this condition? Because there doesn't need to be any "hot-fixes" for Minecraft. A massive world like WOW always has glitches and bugs throughout the world that people report. Its also easier to hot-fix a static world, but how do you hot-fix a game that has an ever-changing world with no real uniformity?
The fundamental principals are just too different to compare.
