I'm not buying that because I don't want to support people who are ripping of Mojang. But I am sure as hell going to download a cracked copy of it for my ipad. XD (P.S. I own minecraft, I just think shames like this should be free lol).
Edit: Update. I have a copy now but will not install till I hear form Mojang if it is ok or not. If they approve of it i'll install it legit,
On Minecraft clones:
Notch: "Btw, there is no official iPhone or android minecraft yet. If you're working on a clone, that's cool, but please don't imply it's ours."
Quatroking: "are they allowed to make money off it?"
Notch: "well, sure. Ideas are meant to spread. But i wish they try to make it original rather than a straight clone." (Nov 15, 2010)
I though he said something like that. No idea if he changed position
it's on both iphone and ipad -- stats indicate it's a #1 seller in 13 different markets . . . as for 'legitimacy', u can't get on the itunes store and stay there (it's been out for over a week) if ur not legit -- anyway, it's a world builder and a complement to the minecraft game, of which there's about a half dozen on itunes right now -- cool techs are always extended upon by creative developers, that's what makes them cool -- ji'm just happy i got another way to enjoy the minecraft experience -- peace, love and zombie-slaughtering
Guys, this is not a mock minecraft, or minecraft being illegally distibuted. The whole point of the app is so you can edit and play on your current worlds on your minecraft, and move them back and forth from your PC/MAC to your iDevice and back again. They aren't talking credit for Mincraft at all. Even in the description of the app, it says, [Begin Quote]"MineCraft is a worldwide phenomena with over 1,000,000 happy miners - finally you can build, play, mine and explore your #D worlds on your iPad and iPhone"[End Quote].
