Guys. Guys. Let's use the eyedropper tool to find out exactly what color values The Invisible is in that picture. Then we can match it to other objects in the same lighting conditions to find out what it is.

Well, that Junebug (HEE HEEEE) might have something to do with it, but I wasn't playing Minecraft in June. Also, what about the green bobbing? I can guarantee it wasn't a monster, I am on peaceful ATM because of the building of a test combination lock, and the trees damn well don't move.
EDIT: Slime post was posted after I started this post, I have actually checked the other side of the hills. I didn't just see the bobbing and go LOL GHOST.
Also, slimes only spawn very far underground. The only deep cave networks near the hills only open in the mountainside where I am settled. The chances of one getting out of the cave, navigating around the hills unnoticed, making me see it, and then vanishing on its own are about equal to the chances of me getting laid.
Guys, let's get some other thing straight, I wouldn't be surprised if this was all my imagination filling in the unknown, which brains tend to allow for, but for god's sake, the facts are there. What can it point to other than some secret, if they are all what they seem like?
One thing about slims you might not be aware of, if you are. Just ignore my post.
WIKI ---> "These creatures are only naturally found deep underground in the bottom 16 layers of the map. They usually spawn in large, cavernous spaces or in open mines. This is partially caused by the fact that a large space is needed for them to spawn. "
Meaning, if you had dug a mine and it was big enough, OR if you killed a creeper and it turned into slimes, that is very likely what happened. A cave system can be high up in the air too. So if it found a way out, it could have made its way down.
It says citation needed aka pics or it didnt happen. And as far as I can tell there is nothing in the code that suggests other than the layer 16 and under.

The Fist Part "Although very rare, a slime can spawn in the upper layers of a snow biome"- Minecraft wiki. is not proven, It need citation. My second piece of evidence is the slime code.
Additionally, even if by some miracle, the snow biome fact is true, the wiki itself still denotes that they will be underground I.E "In the upper layers of a snow biome" as it states. The pictures are neither from a snow biome or underground.

My Grandmother passed away on Sunday, the 7th of August, 2011. I am taking an extended leave of absence in light of this. My apologies.
Okay you have proben me wrong. I admit my loss and I go on with my life. Good to know it's not a slime.
Now can you see on the code if it is possible for a sheep to spawn lime?
Don't you that he may have dyed the sheep before he took the picture?
Well, I'm glad that because ONE PERSON'S first post in this thread was a bad attempt to trick people you now think it's automatically whatever they saw.
Can anyone explain why it vanishes when we get close?
Can anyone explain the VERY RAPID, SEVERAL, SEVERAL WINDY NOISES?
Can anyone explain any of that?
If you're going to be a stupid thread crasher, just don't post.

I have been proven wrong, look like 3 posts above yourself.
EDIT:@poster above
I do, but that would mean he's a troll.
And that would mean he'd get flamed.
But might as well check evidence befure putting someone in jail.
I'm not condemning him just yet, all I said was chances are Cole dyed a sheep and took a picture. Also the chances of this being real are not in his favor.
But look at the similaritys of the "invisible" in this picture:
Meh. I'll be back in a little while with what I think can be called conclusive evidence.
EDIT: Evidence that I'm not lying, that is.
Again, I can't prove this is real, and it might not be, but I won't give up until there is a conclusive finish. Something that CANNOT be incorrect information.

I have found that torch light can travel through blocks to light up the surrounding area. Is it possible that this is grass/dirt block with a torch under it causing light to that tile but not those around it? Actually this is used in the Certerpiller episode of Coe'sWorld to light the inside of the Blighthouse.
I have experienced fog / lighting issues in the distances in previously explored areas. I have seen tress on the top of hills with the foreground areas still being foggy. When the foreground terrain loads it looks very much like something is moving especially if your focus is on something else.
I have experienced some weird sound issues too. I was walking on stone, but heard the both stone and grass walking audio. It stops when I stop, and started again when I moved and then it goes away and doesn't re-occur when I walk back to the same spot. There has always been dirt close to me. I think there may be a glitch with location I am displayed as walking and where the believes I am walking.
I have experienced looping, chopped and mixed sounds on occasion, but these normally happen when there is something else occurring in the background outside of MineCraft, or when generating new chunks in unexplored areas.
There is one thing that i have experienced that has been noted in this thread, but not by the OP. When underground, I have been pushed/ nudged when standing still, or mining... It's the same experience as a sheep, pig, chicken, pushing you, but with no mobs around. I will have to start recording my sessions to see if I can catch it on video. My only theory is that I am again displayed as being in one location and the game thinks I am in another… once I stop moving the two are able to get in synch causing the display be change a bit, like I am being pushed.

By all means I think it would be really cool if it was real and you could prove it, but your "evidence" is too similar to the way people try to fake UFO pictures.

In Cole's post with pictures, notice how in the second picture, he's right next to a sheep, and there's also a spot of dirt where grass should have been. That would mean that something was covering that block for a period of time (perhaps the green wool?) and was removed after a while. That area that he was in in the second pic was very similar to the area the "blob" was in (you can tell from the way the land is shaped, and from that tree in the corner). And because of the angle he was looking at the blob, you can tell that the sheep "legs" are the edges of the dirt from the grass blocks.

Thank you for contributing such a well thought out statement.
Uh, guys, the Invisible spawned in this world I made where I was building a giant factory-type thing, saw him while trying to get a good view of the factory, I've got a picture too!
SEE DO YOU SEE HIM MY FACTORY WORLD IS HAUNTED I'M NOT KIDDING
I'm getting on the horn with some Java ninjas to get someone to make something that renders gameplay history, so you can hear what I heard and see what I saw.
This also will help me get a good hard look at the mother****ing boat at the green blobs I saw.

For anyone still on the OMG it could be a slime kick. This was from page 4. Learn to back read.
Slime=NO
Green sheep, the colors looks off to me and it still doesnt explain the mysterious disappearances, but its plausible.
Look towards the center.
Yep you have proven me correct.
The "invisible" is nothing other then a green dyed sheep.
