Lol, I first built my base without torches, and then upon discovering torches, I tried illuminating my base by equipping them. When I noticed that this tactic didn't work, I discarded them. xP
what makes you think my IGN is Biscuit?
i just use that name on forums because it's always been my name in all previous games
check "Moxz" YO
Good job. You just grabbed a random guy from the forums. Moxz is a different person on the forums, not you. Your a pirate and I've seen people like you try to grab other peoples names.
Oh man.. I had so many mistakes I can't even remember. Well, one that I regret the most?
On my first/second day of playing MineCraft I couldn't find any cave entrances so I decided to dig deep down till I dropped to a random cave. (I was on Peaceful mode, luckily, sorta) I dropped down, ventured far, found plenty of gold, iron and diamonds and was stopped to a halt because of lava. I didn't want to turn back because I was curious if I could find more stuff so I built a bridge over the lava. Next thing you know, the game freezes and I reopen Minecraft literally PRAYING I wouldn't fall in the lava.
Guess what?
I fell in the lava. My stuff was all burned in the lava too.
Playing Classic Creative mode on an unregistered account before buying the game. I built so many structures in 8 hours, just to realize that when I felt like I was done for the day, the map wouldn't save because I didn't register.
On the very first day of survival I wanted to make a zoo so I started to wall in mobs. However, when I got to the creeper he blew when I was walling him in. I thought, "Oh , they explode in confined spaces so i found another one and gave her a bigger cage. Then I jumped in and started playing with her... Continue this cycle about 5 times with bigger and bigger cages until I realized that they explode near me not in confined spaces.

What's wrong with anime?
Did you know that a flashlight is a laser shotgun? Pretty cool, huh?

If the world was flat, how deep would it be?
first mistake: deciding that if i was on top of a tree i wouldn't need shelter for my first night... second mistake: picking a tree next to a cliff face with a cave about three blocks above me... result of combining first and second mistake: creeper comes out of cave, drops onto tree, and proceeds to cause the first of my many creeper related deaths

Man your own jackhammer. Man your battle stations.
My first mistake was believing my friends that if you press enter it saves your spawn to that place. I then proceeded to test this by putting it on hard and running into the first creeper that I saw.
My first mistake was getting lost. I had no sense of direction. Didn't know of the coordinates and that the clouds moved west. Also didn't know how to make a compass or knew it existed. I wandered around forever until I decided to settle down in a winter biome. I had so much generated land as a result. Sucks because it's all OLD land. Have to go out really far to get new land. I get this game now so I'm never lost (if I go out far I take a compass with me, but I used cartographer to study my world so I have a good idea on how it's like). I don't wanna get rid of this world though because it's my first and I'm kinda sentimental about it. :smile.gif:
I won't coun't creative (I played a good bit before switching to survival).
My first mistake was starting to play without any idea of what the game was lie in alpha. I didn't build a shelter and knew nothing about crafting or even the inventory.
Guess what I found in my cave one day?

Never found my first base ever again.
( this isnt pretty btw)
I went into my house and shut the door.
(seems innocent enough)
But
My spawn point lay just inside the door and when i tried to close the door i dumped the lava over my spawn point.
