You'll have to enchant something to change the enchantment seed; either a book for 1 level or a useless item like a wood shovel; I've also heard that quitting and reloading the world will reset it.
Also, it should be noted that using books to enchant items in 1.8 will significantly reduce the number of times you can repair them, as each anvil operation doubles the repair cost and like tools books accumulate a "prior work penalty"; you are better off just enchanting to get (for example) a Sharpness IV sword instead of upgrading one to Sharpness V (hardly any difference anyway, less than 10% more damage).
