I'll tell you mine, I have a world with a sky island. And at the bottom there is a mine close by with a lava moat going around my sky island entrance. Best possible scenario, you can see all mobs.
I thought it would be safe to go down, but oh no, creeper is hiding behind my ladder area behind my lava moat.
I go down, before I have a chance to screenshot it, this happened.
It gets worse, my lava moat sank into my mine, due to the structure of my mine, it went down to the bottom. And I think it knocked out half the torches :sleep.gif:
Just after I fix up the situation.I turn around and another bloody creeper explodes, making me lose a lot of my items.
So tell me, with screenshots if possible, what is your worst creeper experience?
Probably when a creeper exploded right next to my base, the first day I built it, that happens to be right by the sea... comes rushing in... thank goodness water physics arn't as punishing as they would be in real life.

I was on the roof of my base, killing spiders from over the side of my 2 block high wall, trying to get some string to remake the bow that I lost to a creeper the day before. I jump up to the top of the wall and begin hitting the spider with my sword. Thank you Chezz. As I stated, I had no bow at the time, but I completely forgot about making him despawn. I guess I had a lapse in thought there for a moment.
I had found my very first diamond ever! I started heading back to the surface. I ran out of torches eventually and got lost in a cave. After about 10 minuets of spelunking i finally reach an exit. It was pitch black and suddenly I hear sssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. I died. I never got my diamond back either.
I was working on a giant waterslide on top of my house and when I climbed onto the room from a ladder on the inside I heard that sound. *ssssssssssssss* Yeah... that one...
I turn around and somehow a Creeper had gotten on top of my house. I attacked it and almost killed it but then it exploded. The explosion didn't even kill me. What killed me was falling off of the room of my 7 story house and smashing into the ground below.
It's not worse than any of my experiences with Spiders though...
my worst ? hmmm..... My funniest was having 6 creepers a few spiders and a zombie jump out while i was taking all 12 steps from my mine to my house , I quickly made a tower of rock so if one went off i would be safe. so im sitting there with over 100 coal, 27 iron (unsmelt) my iron picks and 2 diamonds I found. I figure I will be safe. I was not. I was laughing at them, evidently the spider on the tree behind me had other ideas. oh and yes, he made the jump. it went something like this

After 10:30 PST, my IQ drops to around that of a shovel, please disregard anything I say after aforementioned time, it will likely not make any sense, and is best ignored.
I was in my mine at the bottom of the map (Or about 10 blocks from bedrock) I get my first diamond ever. So I'm walking past a lava river to get back to my house. Then all of the sudden I ssssssssssssss and bam. I then walked up to my house with half a heart of health. However I got my first diamond ever.
You know how creepers can blast you from the other side of a wall? A totally solid wall with no transparent blocks. As long as it's only 1 block thick, they can blast you through it. They have X-ray vision.
One time a creeper underneath the FLOOR blasted me. I had plenty of room to run, but no idea which way to go. If it had been a wall, I would have just run away from the wall. But since it was under the floor, all I could do was just run in a random direction.
BOOM. The creeper made a deep crater in the dirt below it, so the fall damage took away that last bit of life I had left after the explosion.
The empty space beneath the floor was totally enclosed and was lit up by torches, but not quite enough. There was a tiny area under there that was dark enough for monsters to spawn.

Beats that time I died by a creeper, and died two more times by camping creepers at the spawn.

I killed iut. then, as i walked to my door, ceiling creeper of death jumps off my roof (i have no idea how the hell he got up there)
and exploded.
Then, as i assess the damages, a SECOND ceiling creeper comes down and destroys my farm.
