I can move again AND! we still have leaf decay. As a a result I am no longer angry with you. Sorry about all the mean things I said on the forums....

I always thought it made no sense to get mad at the guy for not having his testing team test something when we are his testing team. Also, I never experienced any kind of lag or any other problems in SP, even with leaves decaying all around me.
Normally I fully support Notch. The game was in alpha. I know what that means. I was upset because between alpha and beta the game took a step backwards (the wrong direction!). Loving this game as much as I do it was upsetting to not be able to play on my main saves for two days. Now that its fixed we're all good.
To top it all off, next update there will be even more bugs/glitches ect. but I wont be mad. Why? because the game is in beta and I know what that means! :wink.gif:
Beta is the time and place to hammer out those bugs!
* All commit comments are public to everyone. Possibly even tweeted out
* Everyone who has bought the game can download the latest nightly build. These will almost certainly be quite buggy.
* Before doing a release, we make a special Release Candidate build. You can download these as well, and they’re supposed to be not buggy. (But they will be. :wink.gif:)
* Once the release candidate works fine, it will be released as the new official version. This will probably be once or twice per month.
Or another way to do it would be for everyone to just backup their saves before installing a new release, try it out, post useful feedback on the forums, and chill for a day or two after the release while things get straightened out.

The game did not take a step backwards even with the bugs. Seriously. You don't know anything about programming if you think that. Don't even try to argue it.

I consider not being able to play a giant step backwards.

with a side of healthy green leaves
Notch changes things
Something is wrong, everyone bitches
Less than 3 days later, Notch does his best with his small band of programmers to fix everything
Everyone is happy, but will forget how quick it was fixed next time something is wrong
Notches for Notch

Some thoughts about release schedule during beta
Here’s an idea!

Perhaps something like that might work!
