ok minecraft beta in my opinion is a total fail. I have found one new thing leaf decay. And how long did this take for it to be released? it is ridiculous. Second thing. This is brand new! Huge ammounts of lag and it freezes my computer every time i start minecraft up. Not only that but when it does not freeze i have about 1/2 fps and before beta i ran around 60-80 fps. So i just recommended this game to my friend and he bought it and it lagged a little but now it is unplayable for him. Oh and i want to here about some of your rants and problems about beta to. I just hope Notch can fix these probelms!

- Working server-side inventory - Good. Shouldn't that have been done like 1 month ago?
- Made SMP servers save chunks way less often. - Notice how its 100 Chunks more than often. Server/SP lag. People can't play. (Have you read ANY posts?)
- Moving too far away from a container, or having it blow up, closes the inventory screen. - Does this even count as an update? It's so minor...
- Fixed /kill - 3 minutes of coding?
- Made it so you cant store items in your 2x2 crafting grid any more. - Wow 1 minute of coding?
- Gave the Mahjong team special cloaks - At least that does something...oh wait, no one can even log on to see them!
- And something even rarer. - No one even knows it yet.
In reality, these don't even count as any updates. He just made it look like he did a lot by adding a lot of lines.
He could have just said, Made the server less laggy and added /kill command.

You do not understand what "Beta Phase" means. The Beta Phase is used for bugfixes and behind the scenes changes. So,please,pour yourself a nice hot cup of STFU,and educate yourself.
Do you not realize this is a Beta? everything isn't going to be perfect. In the Christmas update he will be fixing most of the problems. Just wait for the freaking game to come out if you don't want all the updates.

Then, when someone attempts to make it even better, you get all pissed off and decide that your once great thing is now horse ****. The fact is that whenever any game is given a major update, there's always issues. So I have a solution for you, go outside, catch up on your sun for a few days and wait for Notch to fix the bugs.

If you've paid for minecraft, you're investing in what might be. You know what you were getting into the moment you bought an Alpha/Beta release. Bugs are to be expected in these phases. Also, anyone who knows anything about development knows that every system is different. You can't presume how long you think something took to code, because you're almost definitely wrong. Give Notch a break, he's doing a great job.

You are right he is doing a great job *suggestion time! dun nuh dun nuh. Suggestion!* when a patch does not work good we should be able to disable them until they are fixed.

We both know i cant do that but an update is suppost to make a game better not 1 million times worse?
