Isn't cobalt radioactive though?
Or does it have to be enriched first?
Naturally occurring Cobalt is completely stable (Cobalt 59) and even the most unstable (Cobalt 60) isn't that radioactive with a half-life of around 5-6 years. All unstable Cobalt isotopes are manufactured.
"59Cobalt is the only stable cobalt isotope and the only isotope to exist in nature."
Wonder if eventually we will have tons of ores and be able to combine metals into alloys and have those fill in the gaps. Something like bronze, or having the current metal armor be considered iron, and adding a white flux stone to let you make steel.
You can probably tell Ive been playing dwarf fortress lately.
There is a navy blue ore now. The prophecy was correct!
Unfortunately, it has none of the uses predicted. It is just blue.
The use of lapis as a dye is historically correct, though. However, it would be nice to have more semi-precious ores available to mine for the purpose of decorative objects, if nothing else. Think of it like an official Fancy Pack, if you will, where you can create decorative stuff. It would especially add more variety for multi-player servers.

Why do we need another completely useless metal?
Okay I said it...
Okay, and now we can disregarde it. lol
But seriously. Rune isn't... even a material. Rune is engraving. Something you do. Not a metal.
Okay...what da hell?
no need to mine 479k diamonds by hand :biggrin.gif:

MOD EDIT: Please do not talk to other forum members in this manner.
Nice flaming, there. Because "Redstone" is a real material.
