A door panel is two blocks tall and just as flat as a door and is planted the same way a door is. What door panel does, is allow an aligned, adjacent door to open a full 180 degrees freeing that doors initial space, assuming a door planted on the other side of the door hasn't done so.
Practical uses:
-Because the space that the door takes when closed is normal becomes free when it's open, door could be no used as flood gates.
-Prevents of getting caught on open doors on the way out.
Aesthetic uses:
-Create duel doors that swing all the way out, and indented into the side of the building
-Use a door, a panel and another door on a side of of building that uses an odd number of blocks and still keep it symmetrical while using multiple doors.
-A Nice place to put the button.
