I have a problem with the current /solid command. It is only effective on 1 material, and to add to that, it replaces said material with bedrock. I'd really like it if the /solid command was updated so that it made any object you place solid. Grass, cloth, etc. And of course, it would not be replaced with bedrock.
This is so that admins have easier access to non grief-able buildings that don't look horribly ugly.
The server I plan on running could really benefit from this command. What does the community think?
Or, y'know, you could use one of the many custom servers out there.
MCsharp is easy to use, has some nicer features than the vanilla, includes many more op materials, etc.
MCzall, I'm not sure if its free yet. However, it is by far the best publicly available custom server, and supports full customization of features.
I see no reason for anyone to use the vanilla server. It kinda sucks in comparison to what people have done with it.
