so guyz, I was playin minecraft today, and I noticed that if you get stuck in the nether without a way to reignite your portal, its impossible to get back. So I thought that we should add iron to the nether too. It would look alotz like iron in the overworld, but instead of stone, there would be the nether stone, and the irony looking brown part would be more red. This way people can still make it home if their portal gets shot and they don't have flint and steel.

If you forgot to bring flint and steel, then you made a major mistake. If you are in a rush to get back, I suggest you go punch a pigman or jump in lava.
P.S btw what team are you routing for in the Olympics?
If you mean chests, where else are they going to keep the loot? The chests are the only thing that can really hold items.
I've just corrected that in three seconds after posting it, you know how otto correct is, don't try to change the subject. where else? maybe a chest that fits the theme more, kinda like how they added fences that fit the theme more (this is just my personal opinion).

Hm, I get what you are saying now. I don't really see the point of reflecting everything into a Nether-styled counterpart. If it exists, let us use it. Chests are fine, they provide a nice contrast from the drab color of the fortress. However, that's just my opinion.

if there were any ore, it'd be gold, as that is already present in the nether. Fire charges are available to light portals, and blazes, and to a lesser degree ghasts may do it themselves.
You seem to really like replacing "s" with "z". Copying an overworld ore in the nether is... cheap. Just be sure to have Flint & Steel before you leave the Overworld, or at worst, some wood planks to trail fire into the disabled portal (yes, that does work). I'd rather just be prepared beforehand rather than cheaply having iron ore in both the overworld AND nether.

2. Collect the Gunpowder
3. Locate a Nether Fortress
4. Kill a Wither Skeleton.
5. Collect the Coal.
6. Kill a Blaze
7. Collect it's rod.
8. Craft the rod into powder.
9. Craft a Fire Charge.
10. Relight the portal.
No Support.

Yes they do exist. And most of the time you'll get a bunch of extra junk you don't need.
yes they do, but I forget which update implemented them...

It's a fortress. Fortresses would normally have loot. I fail to see how it wouldn't fit.
