Hello Minecrafters! In my Survival world, I live in an Extreme Hills biome and imagined a Bigfoot like mob on top of a hill. This gave me an interesting idea. As such, I have an idea for a brand new hostile mob... The dangerous Yeti!
The Basics
I propose a new mob called the Yeti that is a hostile mob. It is slightly smaller then 3 blocks high and is as thick as the player. It is covered in white fur, but a blue face with red eyes can be seen. The Yeti spawns in Extreme Hills biomes at night and comes after any player in a 10 block radius. The Yeti is slightly slower than a regular walk.
The Yeti has 15 Hearts, or 30 Health Points. It attacks using melee attacks like a Zombie, but with a higher range. This attack deals 1 Heart of damage, or 2 Health Points. It may also stomp the ground, damaging all mobs around it by 1.5 Heart, or 3 Health Points. Lastly, it can throw Snowballs at the player, delivering a Slowness I effect to let the Yeti catch up. When killed, the Yeti can drop Bones (0-1), Yeti Fur (1-2), or Snowballs (1-3).
Yeti Fur
Yeti Fur is a new item dropped by the Yeti. It can be placed on the ground, similar to Redstone Dust or String, leaving a patch of fur. Yeti Fur can be crafted into many things, such as a Yeti Suit, a Fluffy Bed, or a Fluff Carpet.
The Yeti Suit consists of four items, the Fur Hat, Fur Vest, Fur Pants, and Fur Boots. Each armor piece is made just like any other (ex. The Fur Hat is crafted the same as an Iron Helmet, but with Yeti Fur). When put together, the suit gives 4.5 Armor Points, 1 more than a regular Leather Armor set. The suit looks similar to the original Leather Armor texture, but has fluff and is white.
Fluffy Beds are made by putting a Bed and two pieces of Yeti Fur in a Crafting Table. The Fluffy Bed acts actually as a regular Bed, but players fall asleep 1.5 times faster. This Bed looks like the regular, but the sheets are white, are fluffy, and slightly larger than the regular Bed's.
The Fluff Carpet is a decoration block. It is slightly larger than a Carpet, is white and fluffy, and can be dyed. The block is just to look nice.
Conclusion
I think the Yeti would be an interesting mob. The Yeti Fur could have multiple possibilities and uses, and the mob itself has many model possibilities as well. The Yeti would give a bit more variety and challenge to Minecraft, something I think the game needs.

Hi! I like shorts! They're comfy and easy to wear!
No Support, sounds too silly. Fluffy beds? It barely seems helpful. Why should yeti fur be peaceable?
What does fluffy carpet use like? If you want a carpet that looks fluffy, why not use a block like wool? Why should a mythical mob be added to minecraft? Mojang said no more tiers.
And throwing snowballs make the mob sound like a joke.

I'm fine with your opinion, but can you give some reasons why?
