There are many hackers in Minecraft right now.To make Minecraft less filled with hacker,Mojang could introduce a anti cheat system,'Mojang Anti Hack'(MAC).
MAC is a giant whitelist, every server can sign up for MAC protection for free.If a player spot a hacker, they can report it to Mojang with the following format.
Name:
Hacker's name:
What hack does that hacker use?:
Describe:
Proof:Upload a video to proof it.
MAC will not automatically detect hack and ban player,it will help prevent player got banned for no reason at all.
If the hacker is successfully banned by MAC,they will not able to join any server secured by MAC.This will greatly ruin hacker's fun and stop most of the hackers hacking. Also, once banned it is permanent ban
To make MAC less strict,MAC will not taking the following reports.
-Swearing
-Offensive building structure
-Griefing(griefing using hacks will banned)
-Scamming other player's item
-Posting links.Dangerous link can be reported.
To prevent some player abuse MAC.The following punishment can be used.
-List the player into reporting blacklist, any report from that player will be ignored.
The banned player can unban them self by sending email to MAC team but they must describe with the following format.
Name:
Why did you got banned?:
Why you should unbanned?
Proof to show you are innocent:
If the unbanned player got banned again, they will not able to unban them self anymore.
The main problem with this is the same problem with every other anti-hack countermeasures. This game is made in Java and easy to decompile and interact with, so hackers have no problem getting around anything like this. Just like they can get around any whitelist on a server or any ban, provided they are using a decent hacked client.

This would probably just lead to people on cracked clients banning other people for fun. They would make a server and film the cracked player hacking or whatever and the player would get banned.
2 problems with anti-cheats,
If it was one that would check for mods etc it would require constant improvements to the system and as badprenup explained its simply too easy to edit.
The second reason being - People could get banned and actually be framed or just a few bad apples making it bad for the rest. There was a hMod or Bukkit plugin called MCBans or something that did something similar to this and I was banned for a bogus reason on a server and was fully banned on any other server that used this aswell.
Minecraft servers are privately owned by players. They aren't ran my Mojang. It shouldn't be Mojang spending the resources in devising a snitch system.
More interesting perhaps, but outside the scope if this forum, would be for a group of servers to join and create such a system to which others could then adhere. It's a community problem. Not Mojang's.
That said, blacklists are ripe with error. Even when they are fully automated like email blacklists. It's a terrible system prone to abuse, error and misgiving. Adding a blacklist to wrongful reports just compounds the problem because it too is prone to the same problems.
You don't deal with hackers in an open architecture like our computers on a global basis. No game has ever succeed, no game will ever succeed. You deal with hackers on a case by case basis. And after you ban them, hope they go bother someone else.

The primary issue with this suggestion is that it is laughably easy to stage a ban. Using simple server plugins such as MobDisguise, recreating some builds from a server, and hiring a few players as actors, if a player has a grudge then they are all too powerful.
Absolutely no support, ever. This is going to turn into the same mess that McBans was.
To improve this you should also use screenshots too because some don't have screen recorders whereas screenshots are easy because you just press F2 in-game.

A big problem would be purposely getting someone banned by submitting false proof. It has happened before, and if it happens with this implemented, would ruin a player's multiplayer.

Not necessarily.
I've thought about an idea like this, and if coupled with a good anti-hack mod, it might be beneficial and functional.
There are many problems with this system. If you rely on players sending proof to Mojang on which they'll evaluate if the player should be banned, then that'll make it very easy to create fake evidence and get an innocent player hacked, and it would be a terrible amount of work for Mojang as well.
It's also possible to do something like this automatically, but have you ever player on a server which had anti-hacking plugins? There are 2 kinds of them: the first kind is not sensitive enough and can easily be avoided by hackers. The secound kind is way to sensitive and spews out lots of false positives that can really annoy players and occasionally bans innocent players, and this system isn't even fully hacker-proof either. The gameplay of Minecraft is just too complicated to check for hacking relyably in an automatic way, especially when players have a high ping. And we don't want to ban people from Minecraft forever just because their internet is lagging, do we?
Kind of a good idea, but it seems a little over the top if you ask me. I have a few changes I would suggest.
1. People shouldn't be ignored for reporting a wrong ban. I mean, if they do it when they think he was hacking, but he wasn't, or even if you just do it once, I don't think it should be ignored for all time. I mean, what if he actually saw someone, but it was ignored? Is it really that hard to just ignore a fake one?
2. Someone should have to be reported more than once. If someone is falsely reported, but it looks like he's hacking, he could be banned. And, on a side note, you can't really provide proof that you're innocent. It could be easily forged.
3. People should be able to be unbanned. I mean, it seems kind of unfair, that if you hack once, or twice, you can never play on any of these servers ever again, even if you stop hacking. I think servers should have an option to allow curtain members banned by MAC. So, a hacker can appeal to a server. They can let him back in. If he hacks again, he's out. But I think it should be the servers decision. Because if MAC is going to be this big of a thing, it could be a really long time until you're unbanned.

(To be honest,it work almostly same as VAC lol.)
Nothing to see here~
