Spiders leap and will climb up walls.
Creepers blow up if they get too close.
Zombie pigmen move fast and aggro in groups.
Ghasts shoot fireballs.
Normal skeletons shoot from a safe distance.
Blazes fly and can rapid fire three flaming projectiles at once.
-*-*- But zombies are hardly ever a threat -*-*-
Early game in the first night normally the best weapon I have is a stone sword and I won't be wearing armor. Obviously I am terrified of nearly everything. But zombies are never a problem. Even in large groups. In fact the only really scary thing about zombies is them letting something more dangerous into your home like a creeper or a skeleton.Zombies won't sneak up on you because they make so much noise.Recently zombies were "buffed" to cause other zombies to spawn nearby very rarely if they were hit. It's still not much of a threat.
-*-*- I propose that when hurt by a zombie the player becomes afflicted with the "hunger debuff" -*-*-
The effect would not stack. The player would first have to lose the debuff before they could be hungry again. It would only last as long as eating rotten flesh would. Almost as if the player were a little bit zombified but hadn't lost complete control.
