So here's the idea.
You make an Undead Army flare shooter block from a crafting table by putting a dispenser in the center slot. And placing 1 zombie head on the upper left slot and a skeleton head on the upper right slot. Then you put gunpowder on the left and ride side. Then lower left, lower right and lower slot. You must select the Undead Army flare shooter block and put a firework in it. Then you must wait for a few seconds and it will shoot a flare of green and white. The colors green and white symbolizes the zombie and skeleton. After shooting the flare, a horde consisting of zombies and skeletons will appear to the place where you placed the Undead Army flare shooting block 3 nights after you fired the flare. You have 3 days and 2 nights to prepare your armor, weapons, some traps and a small fort if you don't have one yet. You will fight the horde until sunrise. You will need a lot of traps for the attack. By sunrise all remaining members of the horde will burn to death. All killed members of the horde will drop their usual stuff.
This is a good way to fight mobs with your friends in multiplayer. The Undead Army flare shooter block is re-usable. just insert a firework to use it.
This idea is still relevant to minecraft and should still be discussed. I think that mobs spawned this way have a 100% chance to spawn with helmets. Support, awesome.

A bunch of armored zombies and skeletons, will spawn in a place where you shoot this, 3 days later.
First of all, the crafting recipe uses items that can't be obtained in survival.
Second, it takes an entire 3 days, you should be ready before you shoot that.
Third, It could be abused for drops, grinding and XP. And in Multiplayer.
Fourth, it is too storylike to and unopenended, to be in vanilla.
Want this? It's not that hard to make an undead army in creative.
But this doesn't really go with the flow. No support.
