Can't you read? I said I only play PC Minecraft
I just want to say before I start talking about my idea, I know I've already posted a thread about this, but there are quite a few changes & I doubt that anyone would post on it again. Plus, it was really cluttered & it would have taken forever to clean it up. Anyways, here we go!
I've always wondered why Steve doesn't have guns available to him in our game world. He certainly has the technology for it, but just doesn't try to in any way, shape, or form. That's where my idea came from (& an animation I watched, but let's not pay attention to that right now). In fact, there are no cumbersome ammo clips, bullets, or anything like that. Just fence-posts & dispensers.
The names of the two guns are called the Didis & Didro guns. Didis guns are the more expensive gun, whilst Didro guns are bit less expensive but powerful still.
Both of the guns have 750 durability, making them an item that may need to be taken care of, but can still take a beating. Their crafting recipes are fairly straight-forward & simple:
Now while you may have the gun, you haven't gotten ammo for it yet, do you? Here are all of the possible projectiles that you can use for a specific gun.
Arrows are not a recommended projectile for the guns, as they don't have enough mass to obtain enough speed to do a good amount of damage. They do travel far & have fair knockback, but they do the exact same damage as a bow at the lowest speed possible. Like arrows fired from a bow, Enderman will become enraged when you shoot them, but they will not get damaged
Water in a gun is not good for offense. Rather, it is used for defensive capabilities & escaping danger. Water can push mobs far back from you, & possibly into a corner where you can damage them easily. However, firing it at an Enderman will cause it half-heart of damage & will cause said Enderman to teleport away.
Lava is the polar opposite of Water, in which is deals a moderate amount of damage but has very poor knockback. It will set the mob on fire & deal one heart of damage when hit by the flaming projectile. The only mob that is immune to this is the Enderman, who will teleport away & become enraged at you by the attempted damage-dealing projectile.
Now I know what you are thinking: "This is going to be an awful, game-breaking thing where you can fire armed TNT!" No, it isn't. TNT in a Didro gun is not automatically ignited. Rather, it just sends a disarmed block of TNT in the direction you pointed your gun it. Once the projectile reaches the ground, a block of unarmed TNT will be placed down. If you want to make the TNT ignite when you shoot it, it shall require a flint & steel, which will be entirely consumed once you have fired the projectile. That means that for every pre-armed TNT projectile, an entire Flint & Steel must be used. The only mob that is immune to this is the Enderman, who will teleport away & become enraged at you by the attempted damage-dealing projectile. Finally, TNT can only be fired from a Didro gun, so that you don't throw away your old Didro gun once you get a Didis gun.
Like TNT, Sticky TNT can only be fired from a Didro gun. Sticky TNT is very similar to normal TNT in the way that an entire Flint & Steel must be used in order for it to be ignited once you have fired. However, it is quite different in other ways. It is a shapeless crafting recipe, crafted with a normal block of TNT & a slimeball. Anyways, it acts like normal TNT when fired (armed) except that it will stick to any Block or entity that hits & will do tons of damage to said entity, most likely killing it. However, like previously mentioned projectiles, it cannot do damage to Enderman & will only enrage the creature.
This projectile is very useful & is also used to obtain new blocks in the game, called statues. However, I'm not going to talk about that right now. I'm going to talk about the projectile itself. The projectile is not craftable & only exists inside of a Didis gun. When both a Water & Lava Bucket are in a Didis gun at the same time, they merge to become Obsidian blast. This can also happen in a Didro gun, but the results are quite disastrous. Firing Obsisian Blast from a Didis gun will cause 4 hearts of damage to a mob, & also has a chance to give it slowness & weakness. Fired from a Didro gun, however, will result in the Didro gun losing ten durability & will also waste the obsidian blast. This can damage Enderman, like Water.
Now then, I think that the guns would be a bit bland without upgrades. Or rather, one upgrade:
The only upgrade available at this time is the Gattling Hopper, which is used to turn a Didro Gun into a rapid-firing knockback machine. I will tell you the crafting recipe later, but it will be mentioned eventually! Anyways, you can turn a Didro (can't be Didis) gun into a Gattling gun by crafting them together. It is crafted with a Didro gun underneath a Gattling Hopper. The Gattling Hopper doesn't really work well with projectiles other than Arrows, since they are too bulky to be chucked out at a rapid pace. Anyways, Arrows inside of a Didis gun with the Gattling Hopper upgrade applied will deal 3 hearts of damage per arrow, making Gattling Didis guns a force to be reckoned with.
Finally, there are a few new blocks that are included with this idea.
Statues are placable blocks that take up approximately the same amount of space as their living counterparts. You can obtain Statues from killing a mob with an obsisian blast projectile. The orientation of the statue depends on what way you are facing. All statues have the texture of obsidian by default, but can be crafted to be actual statues that look like the mobs with dyes (Cocco Beans & Light Grey dye for cows, Bonemeal & Pink dye for sheep, etc).
Sticky TNT acts exactly like Sticky TNT fired from a Didro gun. It will stick to any blocks or entities it hits while armed.
The Four-Headed Hopper is a block that, when placed, will take up one block space north, east, south, & west. It can be used to obtain items from more than one inventory & will rotate when given a redstone energy pulse. it is crafted like so:
That's all I really have for now. Just note that this idea isn't all that serious. I posted this more to see if people would like the idea rather than agree or disagree if this should be added into minecraft.
