Some of you may have seen my thread before in "Minecraft Discussion", and i have decided that it is time to bring it to suggestions, due to its positive feedback. To those interested in the original thread, it is linked here http://www.minecraft...ages-build-on/ . My suggestion is that, in villages between homes that are linked appropriately, appropriately being within ~9 - 12 block with the X or Y axis matching within 2, they be linked together. I understand that the description sounds confusing, that is why i bring pictures
This shows that the houses will connect, a hallway with a nice little window effectively creating more space for the villagers to travel through, and the player to utilize. These could possibly be lit by glowstone, just a piece or two, or just a torch on the ground. They also, with the way i have constructed them, match the theme of the village very well. I will include my pictures of the fountain that has been encased inside the village, as well as an overview of the entire village. Careful with this spoiler, its a big one!
I believe that this addition could be beneficial to the game as it would add a very nice design to an otherwise semi - bland village. The issue has been brought up that, even though this could possibly add extra protection for the villagers, they are still pretty stupid. An AI improvement for the Testificates is however a different topic, and does not pertain to my suggestion, so i do ask that you withhold comments on the AI. I am very open to criticism on this suggestion, and please do refer to the other thread before posting if you are interested, to get the full scope of my suggestion. Thanks for reading!
That does sound like it could cut out a bit of clutter that can arise. I debated doing the picture, but for the sake of fleshing out the concept i did, you can never add to an idea too much before implementing it, it gives you more room to work. However, 5 blocks seems a bit small, as that gives 3 blocks to walk through, the walls of the homes would end up most likely counting toward the "length"
Is there an alternative way to bump up the thread?
By both using F2 in-game to take the pictures and by possibly proofreading the post, just in-case you have grammar or spelling errors, if nobody replies, bumping the post is useless

No one likes sarcasm. Read the original thread, its taken from my xbox, there is no F2 on a controller. And the Facebook picture system removes all levels of Gamma, making for a very useless tool. Thanks for the bump though.
