YAY: Clownfish, salmon and Pufferfish are here!! But, regional fishing isn't??? Now, basically, my suggestion adds around 3 new fish per biome. The fish, depending on what grade it is, will be catch able depending on what strength of Renforced you have. No, this isn't about fish mobs, but rather items that you get from a fishing pole(Duh!)Now with the fish!

Grades/Reinforced: Ok, so you saw all the grades, what do they do? They only determine what level of reinforce you have on your fishing rod. You enchant the rod, you can get Reinforced 1,2 and 3. Reinforce 1 can catch Grade B fish, Reinforce 2 can catch grade A fish, and Reinforce 3 allows you to catch the Blue Marlin. To get Reinforce 1, you'd have to get to level 10, 2 is level 20, and 3 is level 30. Catching an A grade fish (Lake Trout) with a Reinforce 2 Rod, it'll start a little scenario. You will have to reel it in, by right clicking. Each right click takes a point of durability. You'll catch the fish on about 3-4 reels, but if you catch a Blue Marlin with a rinka dink normal fishing rod, it'll just snap and break!
General:
All chances are based on a 100 second interval after the bobber hits the water. The type of fish you get depends on what biome YOUR in, not the bobber.
Ocelots:
All new fish except Blue marlin and Arapiama have the same chances of taming an ocelot. Blue Marlins and Arapiamas can tame an ocelot 100% of the time. Ocelots refuse to eat Dead and Slimed scrap.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you'll support! If you can make a banner,I'll be more grateful than a rabbit eating carrot cake for his birthday!
NOTE: Some biomes aren't included because of the lack of fish in that biome, such as a Savanha.
CREDITS: Minebelmore, for the idea of having to reel in fish, and his iron rod turned into Grades/Reinforce.

Kinda cool, I like how it encourages exploration and adds more depth to the food system. With this there is would actually be a reason to go seek out a specific biome and collect its fish for better food. I didn't really take a look at the values though, so it might need some balancing.

Support. Personally, I never fish because it's just boring. But with new fish it would be fun. Plus, the whole region specific concept is a great idea.
I feel like they might add this actually dinnerbone was talking about a fishing thing (without saying what it was) and with new biomes/new flowers which look like they are biome specific I think its very likely there will be other biome specific things like fish.

Thanks!I made it that way because a Greyling from South-Central Alaska be fished out by a Wahoo Charter boat. That makes no sense at all!

Yeah, thats why I made this because Dinnerbone said that.It was in my stash of potental ideas in my brain, but I thought it would be stamped with "NO SUPPORT,MORON!",but you guys proved me wrong.

I think you listed a good amount too like 2-3 different variety's with varying rarity per area is a pretty good amount. I think it would be cool also if there was super rare "trophy" fish. The downside to this I can see is like more cluttered food chests but like if you didn't want that you could always just not fish.

What?Like a real trophy fish or the 'Emerald Fish!'.I can't think of a good trophy fish except a Wahoo.

Jeb or dinnerbone already made the new fishing mechanic. Sorry dude, it might be a bit too late.
They did?It doesn't say on the wiki...I will check.

I like the idea, support! Maybe you should make ones for a theoretical 'Abyys' technical biome, that's a very deep ocean, and you can catch Giant Squid, Angler Fish, and something else (Maybe a shark?)
Support, but why would barracuda be in the jungle? Barracuda are ocean fish. I've caught them before.
Oh,really?Isn't there a type that lives in the Amazon River?I'll do some research.
Yup,there is such a thing as Freshwater Barracuda. But it's smaller than Great Barracuda.By,say,48 inches.
