Support! If only 'cuz I'd love to see Jerry with a hat
I do have to wonder, would it be possible to substitute the pumpkin with a Jack o' Lantern? If that's the case then a slime wearing one could have an awesomely creepy glow of some sort at night, like the eyes of spiders but with a yellow hue.
Maybe. I was trying to stick only with headwear that a player could put on, but a jack o' lantern would look cool.
I like the idea, BUT the drop ability for slimes to drop their armor should be 0. They are basically and are usually harmless creatures, and you really shouldn't be rewarded armor for killing a defenseless mob.
That aside, support.
Thank you, sir!
Slimes dropping their armor wouldn't be overpowered or an issue, because slimes spawning is already quite limited. The probability of them spawning with armor is even smaller than that, and the probability of them dropping their armor is, in turn, minuscule. So really, I don't see an issue with this.
Maybe you could make the slimes put on pumpkins if they were to come in contact with them. Say a slime jumps onto a pumpkin, then would they have a chance of picking it up and wearing it?

Hmm. I'd rather not do this - it would confuse new players.
This is so original and adorable! My next pet will be a baby slime wearing a helmet! Awww... This would be a nice little feature intended for laughs. SUPPORT

Thank you so much!
That was my original intention - baby slimes would look pretty cute with little helmets.
No!!! Slimes are the source of Sticky Pistons, a very important thing. We don't need a useless easter egg. It's like "YHEA LTES MKE DAT CREPERS WIL HLD TNT N THIR ARMS!! AAND ADS ARNS THEY DNT HUV!!!"
These silly posters.
The nametag - dinnerbone/grumm - animal right click - upside down mob is fun, but this is just stupid and people would complain about this. I would.
This is just one of those suggestions what just simply don't fit. Why slimes would have HELMETS?? I understand with zombies and skeletons.
A very. VERY horrible idea.
Oh, and also, it doesn't mean that if it has useless space in the texture, IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE CHANGED!
EVERY mob in the game has useless space in their texture, because it's MENT to be there.
Helmets?
Seriously...
I suppose you could call this constructive. . .
You could call it useless, but then again, there are many things in Minecraft that have little to no use. That point does not serve as an excuse for this post; slimes wearing helmets does not have a legitimate use. However, I understand that they are the source of sticky pistons. This suggestion does not alter their spawn rate/rarity in the least - I didn't even touch on that.
I beg to differ with your claim that ". . .the nametag - dinnerbone/grumm - animal right click is fun, but this is just stupid. . ." A lot of people think the Dinnerbone/Grumm nametagging is pointless, me being one of them. It was kind of cute the first time I tried it, but it gets old very quickly. However, I understand you feel that way about this post.
If you'd care to explain why slimes wearing helmets doesn't fit, I'd gladly think about your reasoning. Zombies and skeletons wear helmets because they are humanoid figures, who resemble the player in structure. It's only logic that they should wear helmets. That's why slimes should have helmets - it's unexpected, quirky, and, to me, fits into Minecraft adequately.
You could have been a bit less hateful, but I accept your criticism.

Yeah. I'll add a couple models of magma cubes.
They do have a chance to drop whatever hat they're wearing.
Wow, cool! It would be really awesome if he replied - I'd love to see this in the game.

Thanks! I had that in mind when creating this - slimes would look cute with helmets on.
