Now, I know Mojang has the exclusivity deal with Microsoft foe porting it to other consoles, but Notch mentioned when it ended they might port it to something else.
Think of it! The 3D features plus the second screen can add more possibilities (ex. multitasking).
it sure would work better than it could have on the xbox xD
anyways I would be happier if minecraft were on 3ds because Nintendo isn't such an like Microsoft when it comes to gaming...

But the Xbox has two analogue sticks. Inferior to keyboard but still works. It wouldn't work at ALL on the 3DS without a HORRIBLE control scheme. Think of it this way. Touch screen would be inventory. That's... sort of obvious. D-Pad would be movement. Then what? You can use the shoulder buttons for scrolling between items in hotbar. Then you'd need jump as well as break and interact on the buttons. That leaves ONE ENTIRE BUTTON for looking around.
