Well, I support this idea, but I'd really rather see the worldgen preferences added in 1.8 expanded and, at least partially, simplified, so that I could simply modify them and get this that way, rather than have more "World Types"
Excellent suggestion. I think that that your screenshots really prove your point. This option would appeal to people like me who want to build in a more realistic scale against a more dramatic backdrop. But is this covered by the terrain generation options coming in 1.8?
I like the idea of bigger terrain, because some lakes look a lot like ponds, but this will also cause large amounts of lag while the world generates. In the end, i wouldn't mind if this were implemented, but i would understand if it cannot be added.
The current world generation are great but it too small and that look terrible. Also make the mountain higher, bigger trees. I like the idea of bigger river most. When you are flying exploring stuffs or playing survival, bigger world G make me more exciting and want to explore more. I hope Mojang will change this. Also I would like the biome bigger, they just like an oasises inside lots of oasis, that also look terrible too.
Obviously, you'd want this to be a separate world type, but apart from bugs like 2-high shores and stuff... I'm all for it!
