Okay, to begin with I'm going to admit that this idea may not be very good, so constructive criticism to help improve it is much appreciated!
(Edit made according to criticism by _Rublix_)
So, this suggestion will contain information about a new Hostile Mob, a new Block, a new Generated Structure, and three new items. I'll start with the structure.
New Structure: Ruins of Ender/Ender Ruins/Ruined Temple
The Ender Ruins (as I will call them for the rest of the post) is a large structure that spawns in the overworld in Plains, Forest, Extreme Hills, Tundra, or Taiga biomes. It is made of Obsidian, various varieties of Stone (including the chiseled and mossy versions), Pillar Quartz, and End Stone; torches and glass skylights spawn naturally in some areas of the Ruins, and lava lakes can also appear (although it is still dark enough for mobs to spawn in some areas).
In the final room of the temple, a chest appears containing various randomized items (similarly to Jungle and Desert temples).
A special variety of Hostile Mob appears inside the Ruins, known as a "Guardian". And I'll cover him soon.
New Block: Statue
The Statue is a decorative block, it stands three blocks tall, and resembles a Guardian standing atop a Chiseled Stone Brick block. The Guardian's normal texture is replaced by a cobblestone variant however. Statues spawn naturally inside hallways in the Ruins.
New Mob: Guardian
Guardians stand two blocks tall, and appear to be wearing a grey ninja robe. Inside the eye slit on their hood you can see solid black skin and purple eyes like those of an Enderman. Unlike Endermen, however, Guardians attack immediately upon you entering their sight area (which is 20 blocks in front of them, and 16 blocks from any other direction.) Guardians spawn carrying either End Swords, or Throwing Stars (more on those later). Upon sighting an enemy (unless preoccupied by another foe) Sword-carrying Guardians will walk towards their enemy and attack with a sword slash, while Star-carrying ones will simply throw their stars at the enemy. Guardians will initially appear like a statue, but they will reveal their true form when approached.
New Weapon: End Sword
The End Sword is a large weapon made of Obsidian, an Eye of Ender, and a Blaze Rod. It does 4.5 hearts of damage, but sprinting is disabled while you're holding it and you inherit the Enderman's weakness to water (including rain). Right-clicking with the sword, instead of blocking, teleports you up to 20 blocks in the direction you're facing (unlike the Ender Pearl however, it does no damage), and right-clicking while taking damage from water teleports you to the nearest dry area (within 30 blocks). The sword has 200 uses, and teleporting drains 20 of them. If less than 20 uses are left when teleportation is used, the sword will be completely destroyed, whereas if it is broken otherwise, the Blaze Rod will be refunded.

New Weapon: Throwing Star
The Throwing Star is similar to the Bow and Arrow in the fact that it is a ranged weapon. The star has a shorter range (10 blocks), but does more damage (5.5 hearts) and fires instantly. It is crafted with Iron Ingots.

New Weapon: Nether Sword
The Nether Sword is similar to the End Sword, with the same damage amount but slightly different abilities and a different recipe (replacing the Obsidian and Eye of Ender with two Quartz Blocks). The sword still disables sprinting, but it doesn't have a weakness to water, and instead of teleportation, right-clicking causes the sword to form a "Nether Rift" in front of the user. The Nether Rift resembles a Nether Portal without the Obsidian frame. Any hostile Mobs or Sand/Gravel blocks within 5 blocks of the rift will be pulled through into the Nether, and any players that jump inside will be teleported in too. Mobs pulled through will be killed, and blocks will be converted to drops. The loot will be deposited in a pile in the Nether; however, the sword only has 200 uses, and forming a rift drains 50 of them. If the sword has less than 50 uses left when a Rift is formed, it will be completely destroyed, where it would otherwise refund one of the Quartz blocks when broken.

The Ruins are made challenging by a series of switch/button challenges with pistons, by solving the puzzles you progress deeper into the ruins. Personally, I don't think it should be made of obsidian. It would be a pain to get rid of if it spawned where you were going to put your house. I also think End Stone should just be for the end, to represent you have actually been there. Also, as proven with the Jungle Temples, when you put a puzzle in a structure, people just pull out their pickaxes and shears. I'd recommend trying to make them just normal ruins.
In the final room of the temple, a chest appears containing various randomized items (similarly to Jungle and Desert temples), and one item that appears no matter what: a Signed Book marked as being authored by "Herobrine" (rarely), "Notch" (about average appearance rate), "Jeb" (again, average), or "Dinnerbone" (common). These books contain hints and information about The End, The Ender Dragon, the Endermen, and the Strongholds (the amount of information depends on the rarity, Dinnerbone writes the least, Herobrine the most). I don't like the idea of a signed book containing info that can just be looked up. Eyes of Ender help you find The End, and that's all that's necessary. Any lore in-game would be stupid, Minecraft's story either doesn't exist, or is up to imagination like the rest of the game.

Guardians spawn carrying either End Swords, or Throwing Stars (more on those later). Upon sighting an enemy (unless preoccupied by another foe) Sword-carrying Guardians will teleport directly in front of the enemy and attack with a sword slash, while Star-carrying ones will simply throw their stars at the enemy. Upon defeat, the enemy flashes white three times before emitting a 5-block radius explosion about half the intensity of a Creeper. Guardians will initially appear like a statue, but they will reveal their true form when approached. I don't like them exploding, it seems overly destructive, and you shouldn't get punished by actually winning. Not to mention it just seems like a smaller, stronger enderman (for melee) or a stronger skeleton (projectile.)
New Weapon: End Sword
The End Sword is a large weapon made of Obsidian, an Eye of Ender, and a Blaze Rod. It does 9 hearts of damage, but sprinting is disabled while you're holding it and you inherit the Enderman's weakness to water (including rain). Right-clicking with the sword, instead of blocking, teleports you up to 20 blocks in the direction you're facing (unlike the Ender Pearl however, it does no damage), and right-clicking while taking damage from water teleports you to the nearest dry area (within 30 blocks). If less than 10 uses are left when teleportation is used, the sword will be completely destroyed, whereas if it is broken otherwise, the Blaze Rod will be refunded. 9 hearts of damage is WAAAAAAAAAAAY to much, and just by switching items or teleporting you're able to avoid this weapon's main weaknesses. Also, having it cost 1 eye of ender, 1 blaze rod, and 1 obsidian, its overpowered. Even if it only has 200 uses.

New Weapon: Throwing Star
The Throwing Star is similar to the Bow and Arrow in the fact that it is a ranged weapon. The star has a shorter range, but does more damage. It is crafted with Iron Ingots and an Eye of Ender. The eye seems pointless. Why can't it be made out of only iron in a star-like form? Also, how many stars would the recipe make? How much stronger would the stars be, and how much shorter would the range be? Any charge up like the bow, or instant?

I think the rift should take more uses too.
Only the 0s are Obsidian, sorry for confusion. The Os are empty spaces. The End Sword (as I put it) cost 1 Obsidian, 1 Blaze Rod, 1 Eye of Ender. Also, thank you for some actual criticism instead of just a sarcastic remark and a "No Support". The recipe for the Nether Sword would be:
[] [] [Q]
[] [Q] []
[B] [] []
Q = Quartz
B = Blaze Rod
Also, you make some good points. I'll edit the suggestion to modify the uses, etc.
Thanks for explaining the recipe, while it makes it more overpowered, it makes more sense.
Nether Rifts now drain 50 uses, meaning that if you only use the sword to make them, you can only open four. That's at most two trips into the nether using the sword on the way in and out.
No Support. I do not support the idea of any more generated structures. Especially structures which are large, hard to remove and are a source of easy lava, pistons etc.
Piston traps are useless to; the game is called Minecraft for a reason; you can break blocks.

I apparently didn't explain myself well on the Pistons note. My theory was have the pistons submerged below the lava, and by solving the puzzle you create a path across. Of course, the average player would probably just use Cobblestone and make a bridge, but still.

I'm detecting a minor hint of sarcasm. Besides, we already have a normal sword.
