No support. One can obtain chainmail armor by trading. Making it craftable is basically nonsense, as chain mail armor is as durable and protective as gold and thus would lose its only raison d'ĂȘtre: as a show-off.

Would you like to know the atomic structure of a piece of bread?
hrm. I think it's a good idea, just needs a bit more thinking.
also, by an anvil do you mean an anvil is part of the recipe (way too expensive) or an anvil used used for the iron to become chains (seems reasonable)?
support. no +1 though, sorry.

Recipe:
24 chains = Full set of Chain armor.

Since it takes twice as much iron as iron armor would have, I think it should have twice as much durability as well.
This is just an idea, opinions are opinions, feel free to share your own using the poll or commenting below.
Idea approved by me.. so far
I need more waffles around here.
If you see it the realistic way...
Using a giant Anvil just to make 1 Chain? lel
Other than that, Chain Armor already has a recipe, using Fire.
Well, Support I'd say.
TT2000, you are genius.

Curse PremiumI'm well aware it uses fire to make the armor, but wouldn't it be more logical if you could craft chains rather than fire?
