I Think that we should be able to have different colored beds, I Think this because it would allow customization to beds and More Dyable things to Minecraft.
Sounds cool, and I'd definitely make a teal/cyan bed.
A nice little aesthetic twist.
However, this is spammed AFAIK, right up there with guns, chairs, toilets, and katanas... (I learned katanas the hard way)
This would add WAY too many textures to the game, and really, only for beds? It's a good idea, but just figure out how it wouldn't use a million textures. I guess it really depends - are you going to allow beds to be dyed like leather armor, where there are several thousand combinations, or like wool, where there are sixteen colors?
I think the sixteen colors is the way to go - doesn't use that many textures, while still satisfying those picky interior designers.

Great idea. I don't even care that it's been suggested before, it's a good idea and the more it's suggested the more likely it could be added. Same thing happened with horses. There's been too many times where I'm making a room that's, lets say, blue. And when I go put down a bed I realise that the room now doesn't look right.

Way too many textures? Well you can dye dogs' collars, and that didn't cause much of a problem.

An alternate timeline emerges.
However, we must first start from the beginning...

This. Changes. Everything.
Who cares if it's useless? Minecraft is about building, why not add some more things for building?
That should be optional, because I don't want some random mob face in the middle of my Teal/Cyan bed.
Agreed. 16 colors would be nice...

That... Is actually really cool.
