Hey guys.
I noticed that Spider Queen was a cool mod, that wasn't updated past 1.2.5, that kinda had a cult following.
I also noticed that 1.6 is out, and a new mode hasn't come out (for sometime?). suggestion:
Spider Queen Survival Mode. what said suggestion affects the player:
Reverses the Players' Role from hero to monster.
Player can now befriend the Baddies of minecraft, instead of the Utility and Tameable (and the villagers!) mobs. The golems will attack the players, though, which will make large villages kind of a threat. what happens to the player's skin:
The bottom half of the player is a spider in this mode. the top half of the player remains unchanged. what player modes will this mode be compatible with?
Single Player. any other changes with this mode?
Spider Silk which allows you to capture the passive mobs for eating later, or making minion spiders which take the place of the dog and cat.
Spider Eggs, which are created by eating captured mobs, or food. there is a 25% chance, when consuming captured mobs or food, of these being created. place one of these in a passive mob, and wait one minecraft day, and you have a minion spider.
You can eat even when your hunger bar is full.
passive mobs will try to stay atleast 16 blocks away from you, if you are closer to them then this, they will walk away slowly, as if they were sneaking.
If you are in a village, villagers will either try to stay away from you, or attack you with their fists.
you are now 1.5 blocks wide, 2 blocks long, and 1.5 blocks tall.
The first indication that this might not be a good idea is the fact you said it had a cult following. A cult following is a small group of hardcore followers. Game Modes in Minecraft are typically devoted to things that a large number of people will want to play. Mods are better suited for those niche markets.
Another problem I have with the idea is that there are virtually no threats for the player in this mode. No Village generates with enough Villagers/Houses to spawn a Golem. Villagers do not fight back. Hostile Mobs are now friendly. So the entire game will consist of you wandering around and eating passive mobs, unless I'm missing something.
Sorry, no support.

* almost a large cult following, but not actually any cult followers, by that i meant a real large group of players that loved the mod. golems, wolves, ocelots, some villagers, horses, neutrals, will all attack the player.
and by hostiles being friendly, i meant zombies, blazes, skeletons, and ghasts.

What about slimes, witches, ect.? Even though there's several mobs that will attack the player, all of them are exclusive to certain biomes which doesn't make combat exciting.
No support. It's a complex gamemode that's isn't worth it. This is also vague.

No support with this - it's just a foolish idea.
