I was thinking a Savannah biome is pretty much missing in minecraft.
Savanna is not as dry as desert, and not as fruitful as plains and jungle.
on the savanna, so it would be a nice mix.
At the savanna should have a lot of reeds and have a couple of those famous acacia and baobab trees
Savanna looks like plain's except the grass is more yellow and has a lot of tall grass (reeds) on it
also all off the big five animals live on the savanna. (Lion, Elephant, Buffalo Leopard, and Rhino's)
so it gives possibility's for minecraft's future animals updates as well.
I'd remove the leopard and rhino. I know they're part of the big five, but they're just going to end up being too similar to an elephant and a lion.
Also, don't title your idea "we want" as if you know what the entire community wants... some people may not like it. I'm in favor for a savannah biome, it would be pretty nice, but you never gave enough details, just a few animals and two trees for an actual discussion to take place. What do these animals do? How do they attack? Do they interact with one another? What about the trees, do we need a new wood for them? Can you give us Minecraft examples of what they'd look like?

I don't think they have to add two new trees, just 'oak tree' generates in different form, such as swamp biomes.
No because the pictures had the leaves going horizontal but no down so the leaves were just at the top, then another tree had a big trunk (4x4) also with a the leaves at the top.
For my suggestions for the animals.....
The lion is an aggressive animal but can only see 15 blocks so if you get to close to it it will attack you (like in real life)
You can tame the to be your watch guard like an ocelot but better. It fends of zombies and creepers. You need a switch (only found in spawner chest, abandon mine shafts, ect.) and if you give it raw meat it makes the chances higher that you can tame it. If you don't tame them within using the switch on them 3 times it will attack you. Lions are very fast and deal 2 hearts of damage while standing.
The elephant is a massive animal at 3 blocks high, 4 blocks long, and 2 blocks wide. Elephants sometimes travel in beards of 2-3 wandering around for water, often times lions try to hunt and kill them along the way...but usually lose because of the elephants massive built. Elephants are usually calm animals but if you hurt them they'll go into a rampage! If they're in a heard all the members of the heard attack. They deal 3 1/2 damage if your not wearing armor. When they are killed they drop 1-2 ivory tusks. You can ground this to powder to be used for alchemy.
You can add ivory powder to an awkward potion so you can add two effects to the potion, but the bad thing is it lowers the times of potions in half of its original form. So if you want swiftness and fire resistance you'll only get swiftness 1:30 and fire resistance 1:30.
I would actually love to see savannah biomes (minus the extra mobs) if and only if the percentage of Overworld terrain that would be generated as savannahs was substracted from the percentage of desert and ice desert biomes. Otherwise, we would have too many desert/flat biomes already.
