Imagine, you're in survival mode. Your hunger bar is almost depleted. All you can see is sheep for miles! Out of desperation, you kill one, hoping for a glitch to give you food. But, alas, just some wool...
We need to prevent this from happening! How, you may ask? With MUTTON!!!
It's simple, just add a different type of meat, raw mutton, to the sheep's drops!
Redundant and vague. It has been suggested dozens of times and most of those threads at least gave some Hunger stats.
Unneeded. Food is everywhere in this game. You would literally have to kill everything and burn every plant in a 300 block radius for there to not be food near you.

If this ever happens to you in Minecraft, then unfortunately you suck at the game. No support.
This is redundant.
I don't support simply because, well, let me write it out for you.
Pigs are meat animals, they drop pork.
Cows are meat animals, they drop beef.
Chickens are meat animals, they drop chicken.
Sheep are not meat animals, they drop wool.
Sheep are unique because they are the only passive mob (Correct me if i'm wrong) that doesn't drop some form of meat.
My point is, creating mutton would make sheep just like every other passive mob.

This is your reason for not supporting? That's a lowsy reason.
How about if you're stuck on an island with nothing but sheep, (and i mean nothing; no grass or trees even) and you need to survive? I think it's a good idea in general, but i doubt it'll be added into the game.

Curse PremiumMy family has 4 dogs, and dog meat would make me stop playing the game.
Minecraft is supposed to fit for more then just 1 or 2 cultures.
Join a hardcore PvP server that's been around for a while. Then I'd like to hear you say that anyone who starts like that sucks.
No support, this is oversuggested and vague.

(Oh and also can someone tell me how to make my own post? Thanks.)
At the top right corner of the suggestion list on the main page of the Suggestions section, there's a button that says "Start New Topic".
You're not going to start a shearing thread, are you?
