I have a suggestion regarding 1.6 and the ability to make custom sounds. I heard about an idea by Noxite and I wanted to add it to the forum. He had an Idea to add a sound block which is like a command block, but instead you would type the name of the sound file you wish for it to play, or you could have a /sound command instead. This would pull files from a folder in the resource pack folder maybe named voice scripts or something. This would make you be able to have more custom sounds and not just the limited number of blocks in the game to change the sounds of. This could make scripted events have sounds and not just text.

There is already a command for playing sound files
It is the /playsound command. All you have to do is type in /playsound <sound name> <username>,
And the sound name can be found in the assets folder of the .minecraft for example random.levelup if you want to play the level up sound in the random folder. Note that you cannot put the number after the name, so if you want to play hurt3 then type in hurt.

Also, I didn't know Noxite also came up with this. I'm going to have to see that. :3
