So I have been reading a suggestion made by Rex1900Roblox titled "Emerald Enhanced Tools and Armor" and tried to fuse emeralds with magic on my own and came up with magic grenades.
Emeralds can be enchanted on an enchanting table to get a random element. To enchant, it costs 0 exp. And it will give you one of the following:
Scorch: Will cause damage + fire (Can be used anywhere, but beware of flammable objects)
Shock: Will cause damage + lightning (Can be used only when the sky is exposed to the landing spot. Can hit multiple targets.)
Blast: Will cause explosive damage + creeper level explosion (Can be used anywhere, but beware of blowing up your structures or ores)
Pierce: Will cause sharpness-based damage
(Rare) Illumina: Will cause a green-light which creates fake lighting (Looks like light, but does not actually affect light levels) and can cause mobs and players including yourself to have a harder time aiming.
Throwing:
When you are hold-right-clicking with the magic grenade in hand, you will start charging your attack. It can cost from base level up to a max level which is 2 levels higher than the base. The higher the level, the better the effect.
Scorch:
-Base Cost = 2
-Max Cost = 4
> Flames created done will increase when more levels are used
The blast grenade is very OP, and should be reserved for creative mode as a map-making tool. I'm not sure whether or not I support the others.

Blast:

Pierce:

> Higher level = higher damage (by 1 heart each level)
Illumina:
-Base Cost = 6
-Max Cost = 8
> Higher level = higher light radius.
(The closer you are to the light, the more intense the blinding)
Thank you for taking your time.

Suicide Bomber Emerald Armor which is like the OP but as armor and sets off when touched.(Aaand everyone is now starting to come up with their own Magic + Emerald idea...)
Emerald armor is suggested too many times, and will never get added.
